ive spent 27 years as a firefighter in jersey within sight of ground zero and thought after that day nothing could break my heart till i watched this beautiful tribute. i think the saddest part is thinking about how many kids lost parents, not just FDNY but all the victims, simply because they did what we all do every day, went to work.

This is a truly beautiful tribute ! The song is amazing and means more to me than you could imagine ! My dad was a NYC Fireman who lost his life in the line of duty 1978 . Thanks for the tribute to these brave men !
