why dont you guys just read what the task of this achievement is...10 melee COUNTERS in 4 minutes... you don't have to kill any person... its about the move... press A when your opponent attempts to hit... niko should duck and then you press B or Y in order to hit em'... IQ - 20?... ;D

@poozeman you don't have to discourage him from using cheats, just use them AFTER you get the achievements they disable, certain cheats disable certain achievements, there are SOME car cheats that don't disable anything, but it's still a good idea to use cheats after you have the achievements

if the cops are chasing you, use one of the helitour helicopters and fly away and comoe back. Don't get to the chopper immediately when you have 1 star, it takes quite long for them to come after you.

Guys..I just finished off this achievement...

It's much easier to do it with a knife..YOu have to dodge the attacks and do the special counter..Now the advantage of using a Knife is, the counter attacks with a knife finish off the attackers in one move. Whereas, you'll need to do two counters to finish off the attackers with your fists. Just thought, I'd help ya guys..

i got it first try it all depends on your reaction time because if you press A to fast then it wont work when they cock there arm back you press A or X (if you have a PS3)

when there all lined up waiting to board a helecopter., stand beside the rope, and punch them, so most of there swings miss that intend to hit you, and u can dodge them. plus u can easily back up and try again, and there is a huge line up so u have alot to punch out.

for everyone whos saying i killed 10+ people in 4 minutes, u have to COUNTER, not be in an encounter! a COUNTER is when someone punches u, u dodge, and then hit them back! u dont have to KILL the person to unlock the achievement, u just have to COUNTER ATTACK someone 10 times in 4 minutes

if u have xbox u press A as soon as physically possible when u see the other person wind up to hit u, thats when u press it which makes u duck, after u duck press B to hit him with a punch, and then just wait and start all over again!

police come every time so the way i did it was block up the front of the line so nobody could escape. Once there was enough people in the line i blocked up the entrance of the line using cars as well as parking them all around the places cops could enter. They wont shoot at you and you wont have to resist arrest. Takes a little while to get enough people though.

when i kill about 5 people, the cops come and arrest me or if i run then it takes long loosing the stars and if i kill the cops i get more stars and more come.

About that hotdog stand. You have to be careful because every once in a while a cop will buy a hotdog and will have the line in eyeshot and earshot. So pick your enemies wisely.
