  • I'm a big fan of Jason, and I think he does a lot of the original songs beter than Peter ever did. This... Is not one of those songs. I'm sorry, but it's obvious why they no longer play this song. Jason just can't sing this song properly.

However, in his defense, go watch songs like I've Been Searching and Feeling Stronger - He can actually improve on some of the originals.

  • If not for Bailey and Pankow salvaging this performance at the end - it's a train wreck, thanks to Scheff's catterwauling

  • Just when I thought I'd heard the worst of Jason Scheff … and what's with the pronunciation of somebody - "sumbudaaaah" Why in the world didn't they let Bailey do the lead vocal on this? - he could hit the high notes - Hey Jason, nice falsetto there at 3:27

  • love this song!

    actually always a chicago fan!

  • Oh Crap, is this Peter Brady or Jason Schleff going through puberty? Jason's voice cracks practically after each verse.

  • @ledzep723 No kidding - hey Jason, nice falsetto there at 3:27

  • I gotta hand it to Scheff, he does sound a lot like Cetera here. Had I not seen, but only heard this concert, I may have been fooled into swearing it was Cetera.

  • Scheff is amazing. when I heard Will You Still Love Me on Chicago 18, I thought it was Cetera singing.

  • Chicago took the low bid when they got Scheff. He's not really BAD - it's just that they could have done better.

He did OK the first part of this song but then embarrasses himself at the end. I can see why they don't do that one in concert anymore.

  • I thought it was awful what they did to Cetera. But Scheff's Will you still love me was great.

  • Scheff is good, Chicago could have done better. The chemistry must have been right. Well, I guess he's still there isn't he.

  • who are these imposters? No Cetera? No Kath?

  • @uselessjoe nowadays they are just a band that need to retire permanently.

  • I think Jason stepped up and did a good job so give the guy a break

  • Yeah Scheff wasn't bad at all. I've loved everything Chicago has done since their debut in 1969 So no matter who's singing or what song it is, it's all great!

  • I think it's great especially for the recording. Love those horns. I feel like a kid again and wondering "what does this song really mean?" Lol...

  • Wow! I only thought they did this song on the

'17-18' Tours, Bailey's a classic with gtr & high background vocals( very close to Cetera).

Poor Jason is in a catch 22, He got bad music press on the 18 tour for being a Cetera clone if U got anything from that tour he sound's too much like him, The guys in the band told him to do them in his own style, The music press left him alone but some fans were peeved that he didn't sound just like Cetera.

To you Cetera nuts give Jas a break.

  • @tehlia77 I'm not peeved that he didn't sound just like Cetera, I'm peeved that he doesn't sound like someone who can hit the high notes, sing on key, and not sing through his nose. Jeez - Bailey could have done a much better job on lead on this— he proved he's got chops on the Stone of Sisyphus album.

  • Jason was so much better than Peter i thought.

  • Jason is tight but to say he is better than Peter is an insult. You are crazy. But he is tight.

  • bravo to jason

  • Peter was and always be the best out of the band's history

  • i love it.

  • DAWAYNE BAILEY ROCK ON !

  • I think this is the song I saw them do in the 80's, where Jimmy actually came down into the aisle to do his solo. Electrifying; dang, they put on a good show.

  • they let jason sing this?? wow

  • Besides the fact that Jason Scheff cracks each time he hits the 3rd note in each verse, this was an excellent performance. It had almost a Cetera-ian type of aura about itself this time. Kinda scary. Really though, besides from that, he was straight on this time. Mind yall this is a classic! Excellent!

  • They need to add this one to the set list again

  • Does anybody have a set list for their past tour? I didn't get to see them this year.

  • @dereksmalls1985 They already did. Check out this summers tour!

  • @dereksmalls1985 Not as long as Scheff is singing lead. God, that was embarassing

  • WOW!

  • Otro toletazazazazooo!!!!!!! excelente!!!!!!
