Saoirse has natural talent. It doesn't seem that she has had much training outside of just being in the movies. She is a very impressive and talented, not to mention quite pretty young lady with a delightful personality and great Irish accent. I've only seen the Lovely Bones so far, but I'd love to see her other work.
