  • how can u play unjabi mc on a video about bangalore???

  • I'm sorry, The music is not at all related to Bengaluru.

  • @atomman By the way, what's is the soundtrack? I can't remember this song's name... But I love this. I'll live in Bangalore as an au pair soon. I can't wait more, i'm so happy to leave my old and boring France.

  • GOOD SONG MAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • great video well done.

I'm off with a group of mates to a local wedding in May 09, any suggestions on must see place and sights either in Bangalore or near by ?

  • The Vidhana Soudha is a nice place to see.

    Then Cubbon park.

If shopping is your thing then Brigade Road is the best. You get everything from United colors of Benetton to MANGO to indian Kurtas.

Some of the best malls are CENTRAL Mall and Garuda mall.

There are all kinds of hotels form the LE meridien, Leela palace (the best) and Windsor Manor hotel...

DAmn my reply came 2 months late! haha oh well!

  • Hi, nice video about Bangalore and neighbouring areas. I live in Bangalore and I will just say."What you see is what you get". Anyhow, I liked the song a lot, does anyone know the name of that song?.

  • song was popular in russia also, few years back. its Panjabi MC... i dont remember the name of song, but there are words "mundian" and "bacch ke"....if i remember right (sorry, i dont know this language, so, dont know if its right or not)

  • Apparently is is called ਅਜ ਗੋਰੀ ਨੇ ਨਚਾਉਣਾ ਏ ਪ੍ਨ੍ਜਾਬੀਆ ਨੂ :-)

  • ive been in blore for a bit now and i hate to say it but u have been to allll the wwrong places in blore.... not ur fault i guess.

  • Loved the video. I speant 3 months in Bangalore and absolutely love the city...the country. Not sure if you ventured out at night..didn't see in the video. I worked overnight to mirror the hours of operation back in the US so was out and about at night. Bangalore has an incredible nightlife! Loved that you did show the good, the bad, the ugly but also the beauty of the city. Mumbai & Goa are also fantastics places to visit. I hope to go back very soon. Peace to all!

  • I loved the video. I am from Bangalore.I love the city for all it is and I also loved the way you showed all parts of the society not just the bad or not just the good even. Thank you !!

  • ditto! i am from bangalore too and i love the city for what it is.yes ,its changed a lot since the last few years but its got charm like no other city.thanks for posting. i miss bangalore and it feels good to see the roads i used.thanks for posting a nice editing! hope you enjoyed the masala dosas :)

  • Thanks for spending the first 25 seconds of the video showing your cat and your couch. It really added a lot to the video

  • I really like open minded people who want to learn about the world rather than ignore it.

  • I am so excited about going to India, I can barely see straight! I will be in Bangalore for 3 weeks. I have been doing tons of research on the city! :)

  • although i ddint like this video i love bangalore !

  • i love bangalore.. i lived there for 10 years.. its one of those places which is first world and third world.. so yeah you find hot pubs, technology ,raves and clubs and you also find crime and poverty

  • Bangalore is the greatest city in the world. I am from Toronto. The best part about Bangalore is that people are always helpful. Try being a woman in the middle of the street helpless and desperate, 1000s of people will pull over and help you. If someone is in trouble here in Toronto, people just walk on. Here, in the west everything seems normal to everyone, even someone dying in pain on the roadside. Not in my Bangalore.

  • Before some one sees a video, he expects good places of Bangalore that he visited. But you know what, if some one is visiting ever for first time, this is what he will see. That is partly a baised view because they have already seen modern places in other countries; their mind will negate it and see stuff they haven't experienced. I don't blame anyone. I enjoyed the video, taken in good taste though. Thanks.

  • HI

im a born banglorean , travelled all over.... and am proud of it.. you got the life just right apart from its modren IT capital and other things...

  • sorry man this is total disappointment. The only thing I liked in your video is the cat in your title. why do you call this Bangalore Visit when there is nothing that's bangalore. You have just shown the roads that you drove and call this Bangalore visit. total crap man. It could be any other city except for the number of autos in the road. Sorry Man I dont like it....a waste of 4.57 minutes od my life.

  • Ahh... This video makes me miss Bangalore intensely. I spent a little over three months there last year and loved it. I need to go back!

  • Great! Love the fact that you've captured daily life instead of touristy shit. People usually try to make it look like something it's not and then complain with those high expections leading to dissapointment. I love reality as it is although you left it incomplete. There are so many other sides of bangalore. Good job anyways!

  • what was the intro music called ? its kinda jazzy

  • The artist is called Punjabi MC feet, Jay-Z and the song is Beware Of The Boys

  • I am astounded that anyone would play this kind of music against a backdrop of India. Seems to me another example of someone who TOTALLY missed the point during their visit to India. Nice pictures but the soundtrack is juvenile and self indulgent - well it is!!!!

  • Hi sasmanwayne

I played this song to the video because every time I went out and was in bars over there this song was playing. I am sure they were proud that this was an international hit overseas as well. I am sorry if it seemed self indulgent.

  • Yeah, that's true. I really like Bangalore, even though now its got some sort of pollution problems, but as long as you visit the less rugged parts of the city, you should be fine and have had an enjoyable visit ^_^

  • Hi jaynarbmw

I didn't mean to offend Bangalor in this video. I like to show the other side of places I visit. If you watch the video on Sydney I show homeless people in the streets and pushing people out of the way in McDonald's. I think it adds charm to a place instead of touristy videos with glossy pictures.

  • Dude, you know there are REALLY nice parts of Bangalore right? You showed a lot of crap parts of Bangalore, which does throw off a lot of people that have never been there. Maybe next time visit MG Road.

  • aah man! that Masala Dosa looks DELICIOUS!!! Great vid btw, I'm from Bangalore too but haven't been back there in years.. after seeing that Masala Dosa I think I should be planning a trip back there LOL!!

  • Yeah but is it not true that all you need to get that license is drive once round the block?

  • ofcourse ..you need a license..

especially now a days cops are real strict about valid driving license and driving under influence....

  • u need a license...of course....the question is...do people follow road rules? and i guess u can answer that question yourself. It's crazy how the rickshaws and the 2 wheelers try to squeez in between buses and cars....they're all over the place. I was born and raised ther for 13 years....despite road rules, i can still say i'm proud to be a citizen of bangalore...awesome place...all the smart technology people reside there....REPRESENT!!!
