  • i was wondering if you cant make sticky rice, is the rice you get from a Chinese restaurant a good alternative?

  • I think most Asian food markets has uncooked sticky rice for sale.

I'm afraid the rice from Chinese take out place won't be sticky enough. (The texture is a little different)

  • I'm going to try and make this for over 300 people next week. I hope it turns out good.

by the way you're HOT! :)

  • I am a 15 year old that loves to cook, I have an aunt coming from Laos to visit my family and my parents are gone for the week so it is only my aunt,my 2 younger siblings and I. I am hoping to surprise my aunt by making this dish and coconut custurd. I have heard these recipes are very delicious!

  • Weird.... never seen this kind of dessert in malaysia. LOL. Well, malaysian call sticky rice as "Pulut" (pronunciation: "poo-loat").

  • it's a THAI dessert..shouldn't it be in Thailand instead of MALAYSIA??..im just saying.

  • Oh my gosh! Thanks so much for posting this video! I find it very helpful! I've had this desert in a Thai resturaunt while in Las Vegas and I loved it so much. It seemed simple to make but I didn't know exactly how. Thank you very much!

  • looks delicious;) nice video tutorial

  • Oh this is a wonderful dessert. I am going to make it for my boyfriend :)

  • thank you

  • i love this dessert! and i love you!

  • I have not tried this dessert with brown rice but I can't see why not. As far as staying thin, substituting brown for white rice will not make any difference because this recipe calls for sugar.
