  • where is the gas tank?

  • Great job. The only thing that bothered me was the open clutch right by where the foot peg is. Personally, I'd enclose the clutch, for safety but otherwise, very slick little bike. Well done!!!

  • lower the idle

  • @MrCreatful I got Asian Dating Site....internet knows your taste I guess :p

  • sweet

  • Isn't that a great feeling?

To see and to feel how the machine that you built with your own hands suddely starts to live?

  • @AfricanLionsHunter It is an amazing feeling, just building this chopper was great, but once it started up and I got to ride it I felt like I actually accomplished something.

  • ride it!

  • i built a diamond back chopper with the 6.5 engine u where talking about from harbor freight ......and i agree the stock brake set up will have to go the 6.5 is a 196cc equivelent and i had to build my own secondary drive to alighn the chain from my primary to my back sprocket...i plan on welding/mounting a hydraulic brake and rotor to fix the brake issue....i will have pics soon

  • @kelseanali88 Let me know when you have some pictures uploaded, would love to see the Diamond back chopper bike. Yeah the stock brakes are not good at all, hydrulic brakes would be sweet for this bike.

  • Awesome, can you tell me what kind of frame it is?

  • @Rik4360 The frame is from a child's bike. It was a "Pacific Coast Choppers" peddle Bike from Zellers here in Canada. I took the peddles off and converted it into a Motorized chopper bike.

  • holly shit

  • I have that bike i might have to do that to mine

  • fuck id so by that how much??

  • thats a stingray! bad ass, now I know what to do with my old briggs motor! :D

  • awesomeeeee man,,,, nice job

  • thats a good job man

im not that much of a stingray fan but that looks nice

  • And your legs go... where? I'd replace that boat anchor of a go cart motor with a 80cc bicycle motor engine kit off of ebay.

  • i have that bike

  • i have the exact same chopper:) i also have a west coast

  • it sounds like my tiller...

  • I have that bike.. without a motor.

  • hey nice :D

and 80 km/h is enough for this its fast enough to not fall down on it while riding and its slow enough to relax while driving :)

u have all my 3 thumbs up

  • No peddles, huh; is there a crank out there to be had that would clear that monster? where i live the rule is it must have peddle power to ride free.

  • very cool what type of mount for motor and is the motor cheap

  • @flowjo25 The motor mount is just a 1/4" piece of flat steel with 4 holes drilled in it to mount the engine. The motor is an old snow blower motor, I traded an old 3.5hp motor for it. In Canada I have seen a 6.5hp horizontal shaft motor on sale for $125.

  • @prostar99 ride it

  • It is a Modified Child's bike. It does have a brake on the back wheel, it is near the chain, It is the stock brakes that came with the bike. They brakes need to be upgraded so it can stop at a shorter distance. no not 280 km/h only 80 km/h.

  • Question ....

Its a modified children bicycle, or ?

But it has no brake at the rear wheel, so HOW DO YOU BRAKE ?

    280km\h is fast, very fast.....

Why my Moped goes only 80km/h....ô.O ?

    MHHHHmm

  • the spark plug is rilly close to the frame have any shortes i have the same bike and want to do the same thing I am going to use a three horse power briggs from a minibike was it easy to mount the engine and sprocket I was going to use a sprocket I was going to use you sprocket from a bike and weld it onto the rear tire if you have any tips please reply thank you.

  • COOL!

    :D

  • Hahahha. Most centrifugal clutches can be mounted in one or maybe both directions, and it is irrelevant which side faces out, if it is directional. Its still a torque engagement device mounted on a driveshaft.

  • fucking clutch is on backwards dumb shit

  • No it isn't, "Dumb Shit"

  • I'm the ignorant piece of shit?! Come on dude, lets get real! And, I have seen the ran without a problem either way!

  • No it isn't you dumb twat!

  • brazilian chopper

  • is that built out of TOMOS?

  • question where do u put ur feet?

  • It has to spring loaded foot pegs on the front forks. That's where I put my feet. You can see them at 12 -14 sec in the video.

  • @samskater101

    no kidding lol

  • this this site the makes parts for moterzied bikes u can get a gass tank

  • u need to put a trans and custom handle bars

  • sweet

  • show a video of u driving it

  • Nicest motorized bike i seen

  • НЕ ХВАТАЕТ БЕНЗОБАКА...

  • idol is too high

  • Comment removed

  • i like it..i can really imagine myself cruising on it..fun

  • make a vid of u riding it dude

  • As a push-bike, that modle was the worst ever built, they did however have a nice 4 and a half inch wide rear tire.

  • Im gunna put a briggs and stratton 2 cylinder 800cc engien on a chopper bike im making do you know where i can get a cheap clutch for?

  • you cant get a cheap clutch for a big motor like that, plus into a bicycle chopper frame, unless you reinforce the frame, a clutch like that would be like a snowmobile clutch with a jackshaft, and they aint cheap, just go with a small engine

  • Yea your right ill just go with a smaller engine, mabye like a lifian 110 or 125cc engine

  • nice

  • lower da idle and you shal makez me happyz

  • is that a schwin stingray?

  • Lawnmower man.

  • Sorry, I'm noy channeling Fonda & Hopper w/this. More like Goya Beans...

  • arctic caT THRottle

  • Set the idle down lower...and splash out on a turnout harley muffler.

They make a HUGE difference in sound on briggs engines. Like the ones in my vids. They give it a nice rumble. Other than that, that looks like a really tidy job.

    5stars anyone?

  • Can you make a video on how you put the sproket on the rear tire? thx. im subcribing

  • Yeah i really would like to know because i have a motor in mine just trying to rig a sproket

  • sweet man

  • what the brake handle was the gas control

  • What type of motor is that?

  • Briggs and stranton you can tell by the carb/gas tank... and the hole in the colling fins on the shaft side of the engine... he would have better luck with a float carb

  • we made one of them at my collage

on a old bmx it was so hard to turn and the chain carried on falling of lol

    wb on my page ..

  • purrs like a kitten

  • 80 kms is about 55mph

  • how fast is 80kms

  • 80 kms

    80 kilometers per second!

  • I have one of thoes bikes!!!!lol

  • 125??

  • probably less, 125 would give more then 5hp..

  • Not on a briggs and stratton.

    125 is correct

  • sick

  • I wonder if you would get a little deeper sound if you designed some sort of echo chamber on her.

  • reminds me of my old mini bike (like the one on Dumb and Dumber) awesome job on the build!!! i would really like to see that thing in action. I've been considering building something similar for my Mother-n-law.

  • looks like the new schwinn stingray?.?.

got a good question coming from a pro bicycle mechanic, is the frame and rear wheel strong enough to handle the amount of torque the motor puts out?? hahaa.....ya know, its a hell of a lot more than us humans can make?

a guy came to the shop with one of those bikes and a broken rear wheel saying it just went on him from pedaling up a hill. hope that doesnt happen to you. but seriously man, AWESOME BIKE ;) nice job.

  • Its not a Stingray its a Pacific coast choppers bike a knock off from Zellers. The frame is strong I did not reinforce it at all around the rear wheel. The only think i notice is the chain is rubbing the frame is slowly eatting away at it. the rear wheel is strong and does not look any weaker even after riding it for 2 years.

  • wow, ok, now ive never ever heard of that company. hmmm......i wonder if the schwinn version can withstand the same setup?? how much did you pay for the bike alone?

ohh yeah, is this beauty road legal?

and if you did any welding, is there a kit you bought and used? im getting really interested now :)

  • The schwinn version should withstand the same setup. the bikes are not that diferent as long as the frame is steel. I pays $90 cdn after taxes from Zellers on clearance. I wish this was road legal I would ride it everwhere, but it is not legal it does not have proper brakes or working lights.

  • well because the motor is so close to the front of the seat if you ride it long time your balls would heat up :DDD

  • what kind of pipe do you have on that, did u make it? i need to know what to put on mine.

  • thats 5hp? my cousin has a 5hp motor he said, he would give me, i dont know if i want 5hp or bigger. i think im just going to go with the 5hp.

  • that axle sticking out the side dosent look to safe!

  • lol did u steal a bmx wheel n put it on the front

  • wat kind of motor is that

  • yo i just noticed u have the exact same bike as me but mine is siverand im also putting a briggs and stratton engin on it

  • The throttle is from a snowmobile. To get the motor in the frame I had to cut half inch from the bottom tube and cut out a piece on the upper tube to fit the motor in.

  • ive got a question...ive been tryin to put a 5 hp motor on my schwinn stinray..wat kind of motor mounts did u use and how much did u cut off the upper tube....could u kinda help me through the build

  • The motor mount is just a piece of steel I think it is 1/8 inch steel. I drilled 4 holes in it where the motor will mount to. then welded the steel to the frame. I only cut off 20 30% of the upper tube just enough to put the engine in and have some clearance for heat.

  • ok thank u so much...i will definitely post a video when i get done.......did u have to cut the bar thats under the seat any

  • how the hell did you get the engine in that cavity i just made one of these with the same engine and bike but we had to put the engine over the back wheel but your bikes pretty sweet

  • Prostar99 doesn't kms mean kilometers per second? i think you meant 8okmh?

  • no he meant KiloMeterS KMS

  • i dont understand the metric system sorry

  • i jus got one of those

ware did u get that motor

  • is that a shwinn chopper also is that an atv throttle on that?

  • holy ****

    another schwinn tingray clone!!

  • man you hear that shit BRRRM BRRM BRRRM man get some vids of it in action!

    lol small seat

  • i have the same chOPPPEEERRRRRR SHIT

  • I got something that is kinda looks like this. It is based off of the same frame but we modded it to look more... "diabolical". The bike is done and it rides fast. We are waiting for it to get warm so we can paint it. We test rode it in a blizzard lol. It was badass. When I am done, expect a vid from me!

  • hey man, thats cool. why didn't you use a twist grip?

  • me and my did this it was a bicycle wasnt it we put a honda c 90 engine in it .. lol ... lol we did aa twist grip lol. ..

  • very nice how much

  • Ever thougth of putting a larger Echo tip on it to kind of give it a mellower tone? Kinda like the harley burble or soemthng? Sweet bike though

  • sweat man i have the same chopper but black i put a 2 horse briggs motor in it iv had it up to 55km but it was picken up slow i had to small of a sprocket is that one realy a 5 horse?

  • cool job. at 80 km, do you feel safe at that speed? peace

  • im doin the smae thing with the exact same bike

  • on mi comment forget about unless it is i dnt thoink it is

  • Hi do u have a son and is his name jon?

  • That was awesome. Nice work.

  • dide you just get an engine and put it on and can you just get a throttle lat macks nose like i bike but dont have a engin ?? and if you can can you get back to me thanks

  • Dude this thing is awesome! I am making my own right now with a 5hp, with the same bike lol. Only problem is that the jackshaft (i didn't switch the side of the sprocket) twists. but I am fixing that later this week!

  • How did you fix the sprocket to the rear hub.

  • yea my roof was just done recently! I fixed the sprocket to the hub with a princess auto coupler it was easy it is what the sprocket used to fix itself to stuff. it was in the sprocket section of princess auto.

  • Oh true thanks.

  • thats so awsome! what was the website so I can get one?

  • Hahaha my friend did you roof.

  • Yo man, that's awesome! How did you make it?
