@sallyprue What happened was that he turned out to be color blind and couldn't go to flight school. He couldn't fly jets because of his sight.

I don´t know what happened after the movie. They should make a sequel so we know. If you meant in the movie then he hadn´t been talking for weeks because he wanted to become a pilot or something like that. I don´t remember. He freaked out when his uncle said that he is colorblind and can´t become that.
