See "Rain Champagne"..first she is drunk on champagne, and as she sees all the commercials she also (thinks she) sees her son, smashes the tv picture screen and suddenly it bursts first with champagne, followed by a tn of baked beans, and finaly chocolate, which she starts to fling everywhere..then at the end it was all just a hallucination.
Right. As you recall while she's singing the song and watching tv she drinks down a whole bottle of champagne so natually she blacks out or has a daydream or hallucinates or whatever. It took me a bit to fully get this too.
To put the whole thing in context this is part of a dream sequence. Ann is watching tv and everything on tv is either her son Tommy or a stupid tv ad so she throws a bottle at the tv and passes out. We then go inside her mind and in her mind everything she saw an ad for escapes out the tv and she wallows around in it.
By the way it is not poo it is melting chocolate remember the Black beuty chocolate comerchal and the Rex Beans comercial. This part of the novie is trying to show people all teh shoit they put on TV.
