Now, hollywood is greedy, the producers of commercials dont want to pay jingle writers that kind of money. They've had to cut many corners over the years in order to keep their prices about the same; what they serve now is crap in comparison. Pizza hut used to use fresh, hand-made dough back then. That's now long gone, given way to frozen cardboard.
