I'm beginning to strongly feel the protesting is purely a distraction, not to discredit the activists by ANY means, some of us are meant to protest, some of us are meant to hold the space for them and all aspects in between. You might ask yourself which one you are, very seriously. And examine your motivations for your decision, if it is from a place of anger, stay home and work on yourself. If it is from a place of love and true calling, then go!

If I may add a puzzle piece 4 u it's not that the media doesn't get it. Understand they r owned by the corporatists & their agenda is 2 deliberately mischaracterize, belittle & demean the demonstrators as stupid & ultimately irrelevant. Nothing could b further from the truth. They r scared & for good reason. This movement is NOT going 2 go away thanks 2 people like you. Don't believe the press. They r agents of the of the oppressors.
Well, alot of the media has been saying that the youth or movements are misguided and misinformed and what not, but perhaps if the larger bodies of media weren't paid to smear the coverage and true journalistic work were honored, then perhaps the public will witness a different perspective. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about demonstration, but something needs to change about how police handle tense situations. Down with police brutality!
