How did you make them learn how to eat? My kitten is about 8 weeks and I still bottle feed her she won't eat or drink from the bowl

I never bottle fed my kittens.... i think to wean your kitten off the bottle it is best to get dried kitten biscuits and make them mushy by adding warm water to them and offer a tiny bit regularly.... as she grows just give her cat biscuits and not wet food as it rots their teeth and damages their kidneys

@egrl5 In the past we had a difficult litter that would not ween as well. Try very milky porridge but use either soya milk or a cat milk mix. It worked with are trouble litter. They started munching, got the general idea and soon moved to kitten food. It's also best to have them eat with mother cat as they love to mimic.

It depends how old the kitten is, ideally a kitten shouldn't leave it's mother until it is 8 weeks old. Do not give the kitten cows milk, instead give it fresh water each day and some dry cat biscuits (especially for kittens). if your kitten doesn't like the biscuits then just soak the biscuits in some water until it's mushy

. Tinned cat food is bad for a cats teeth

There is no guarantee that older cats will accept new kittens, but if you introduce them gradually, and allow the older cat time to get used to the kitten it may work out fine
