  • So "I Loved Another Woman" by Gary Moore is just a cover/ripoff? :|

  • They opened up with this song when I saw them, like the feeling of it.

  • If anyone's gonna do a cover of Howlin' Wolf and do it justice, it's Clutch

  • Soooo grooovy and chiiiiilll, I can dig it

  • listen to the original howlin wolf version, yeah it gets way better!

  • for everyone wanting jazz/blues clutch, check out the bakerton group. its there jazz/blues rock side project, with same band members.

  • They opened their set with this song when they hit Charlotte NC on their tour with Motorhead last saturday!!!

  • @brandedcfh420 dammit! Clutch+Motorhead? OMFG where? So jealous dammit!

  • once, I was listening to some clutch for a few weeks then switched to listening to Tom Waits for a while straight, and I heard something familiar on a live recording. It was this, but called Cause of it All. I know neither Clutch nor Mr. Waits made this song (Howlin Wolf) But I think Clutch could do some killer covers of some of Waits' bluesier stuff. Waits is my fav musician, but Clutch is none to far from that position. This is just great!

  • @CynicallyAloof clutch, waits, and alice in chains. my top three forever. grinding bluesy rock, always fantastic. listen to "swing on this."

  • @CynicallyAloof

I'd love to hear Clutch cover 'Goin Out West' by Tom Waits.

  • badass

  • True to the original, but much awesomer (yeah)

  • I love this song because it totally reminds me of Tom Waits.

  • i wish clutch would do a cover of Trouble Man by Marvin Gaye you know make it new but still have its blues feel

  • that would be cool as hell if they did any marvin gaye song..........

  • @wretchedSTONER yea it would be great woldnt it

  • @therealdude100

I would love to hear them render chocolate Jesus or Mr Siegal, or just about any of them.

  • SOOO TASSTYY!!!!!!

  • no cheeshead, it does not.

  • Doesn't get much better than this

  • i love this song! <3 id love to see a clutch blues album.

  • @meretsger haha beale street to oblivion is basically just a blues album...but all of their newer albums are just blues...since this album is pretty much

  • @meretsger If you havn't already, check out "The Bakerton Group" it is all the same band members but it sounds more like it might be Sults ideas. Anyway, I bring it up because it is really bluesy.

  • @meretsger Robot Hive and Blast Tyrant are already pretty bluesie if ya ask me, dude... But they should definitely keep this sound up for sure

  • @MRxLOKI Amen.

  • @meretsger

    They made one.

It's called From Beale St. to Oblivion.

  • hell yeh man, their cover of gravel road is fuckin badass too

  • clutch knows their blues! id like to see them do a cover album of all the classics. muddy waters, howlin' wolf, Chuck Berry and the lot of em!
