I'm preserving the film, The film was given to me by her estate manager when she passed away.

i'm not old enough to have appreciated the silent movies in their day. but lillian is by far my favorite of all. she had the most innocent delecate beauty that, even today, nobody can come close.nobody.

Forget beauty. She was an amazing actress whose eyes could so powerfully yet subtely express a whole range of emotions. I have a poster of her from The Night of the Hunter. Just saw her in Broken Blossoms.

I am a reletive of hers also, i am 13 years old, i am related on my grandfather's side, i am so glafd to see that she is still appreciated today She passed on the year i was born there is a book about the gish family, it is a family book, that a man wrote for us and it is about the Gish family Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for loving Lillian

At the same time I was watching pictures of the legendary Lillian Gish, it was appropriate to hear such wonderful music at the same time. I actually have Miss Gish's autograph, when I sent her a fan letter in the early 90's. I honestly think there should be a feature film on the life of Lillian Gish. Maggie Gyllenhaal has those eyes. thank you so much. i have adored dear lillian all my life. many years ago i read a wonderful biography of her by i think it was her daughter. i adore her. looking at her and watching her in her films often brings tears to my eyes. and your tribute was a beauty too. thank you!

Ms. Gish never married or had children. I highly recommend Her book The Movies, Mr. Griffith And Me, it is very interesting. And indeed in the twenties with due respect while Mary Pickford was the most popular, Ms. Gish certainly was the most talented of the two.
