  • Great video. So the kale and cabbage are purely just for decoration correct? I am gonna be planting some tulips soon here in Idaho. The snow has melted and the dirt is drying. My sister down the street has a bed of tulips and I just love the colors that tulips are. Again great video. -gerrit

  • yes, These are only decorative varieties of cabbage and kale... and just fyi-you can plant the tulips- but they should really be planted in the fall so they have a good root system before they bloom in the spring... & Thank you!

  • Thanks Roboflyguy! You always leave such nice comments!

  • I can't wait till I can see the dirt again. Still a foot or two of snow yet.

  • Oh Man!!! my all time favorite Master Gardener! I love seeing this kind of color, while outside nothing but white on white around here... 2 feet deep. Thank you as always, for a glimpse of the south. Excellent pointers... by the way, can I plant bulbs while there is snow and they will grow in spring? What do the deer dislike? For a zone 4? thanks FIVE STARS
