What has happened to Ricky Braddy. The guy has the most talent I have seen to date on AI. If he has made an album i want to know about it. When he sung "A Song for You" he made what I believe to be a generally unknown song into a classic memory that will forever be the best rendition of that song that one will ever hear..

getting rid of ricky was the worst decision I have ever seen in any of the idol/x factor shows. Surely someone in the industry will recognise his incredible talent and snap him up. Then he can show idol what a huge mistake they made. Keep doing your stuff Ricky your time will come.

My God! Why did the judges put Megan and Jasmine in the final 12/13? Ricky can run rings around anyone in that group vocally. And why they added Anoop instead of Ricky was beyond me. They were not looking for talent, they were "casting". But after all is said and done, AI is a talent show and pesonalities don't really matter. That's why it was a travesty that Ricky didn't make the top 13.

I cannot even express how amazingly ridiculous it is that Ricky Braddy was let go by the judges this season. My brain cannot comprehend the fact that this amazingly talented singer isn't even in the top 13. It's one thing that America didn't vote him through (ZERO exposure & moronic voters), but for the judges to pass on him for the top 13 is nothing short of criminal! I'm still very upset about it. Ricky deserves this stage to display his immense talent and we deserved to hear his gift!!!

Allow an opera singer to put in his 2 cents: Ricky has IT in spades! He's got beautiful tone and great technique. Great legato, great phrasing, great dynamics control, great passagio work and masterful facility in the higher register. How the heck did he not make it to the top 12/13 ?!? I really hope some producer hears him and signs him because he's infinitely better than the trash that's singing on the show right now. Simon's comments about him were utter BS in my mind.

An opera singers opinion....5 stars to you 'tristanhni'!!! I agree 100%+!! These boards are filled with tone-deaf imbeciles such as 'Primo322', 'alroy426', and 'magishun22' who think they know a lot about music, but their words prove otherwise. For instance 'Primo322' claimed that Donny Hathaway was better than Ricky (he erroneously probably believes this since Donny's cover came-out before, but that does NOT mean it's better) in fact if you listen to Donny's version it sounds like he falls...

flat (almost asleep) at the low notes. Elliot Yamin is flat through-out his version, and the original is very scratchy. But Ricky is PITCH-PERFECT!!!! Everything is SPOT-ON 100%!!!!

simon (and randy, paula and kara on simon's instructions) also wanted to include anoop even though he reminds me of an amateurish kareoke singer so that they could use him to ride the slumdog millionaire mass hypnosis in order to pool ratings for the show. Notice how they attached 'dog' to anoop's name and always place him at the end to give him maximum expore and leave him as the last image in the audience's mind.Hope more people will speak up against american Idol.Its time for that show to end

I TRULY believe that in the years to come Mr. Ricky Braddy will be WAY MORE POPULAR than any of the other contestants for this season's broadcast of 'American Idol'!!! I so agree with you. They're trying to put up that indian guy in order to pool in raitings for the show by trying to make correlations with that slumdog movie. This is why the word 'dog' has been attached to annoop's name and his pitchy performaces are praised by the judges (on simon's instruction). Anoop is also strategically placed last in the line of singers. Let's join forces to speak about the rigged show called american idol.

I've never heard of him until last week either, but have been listening to this song every day. His voice is just so pure and beautiful , I'm moved every time. Even if he doesn't make AI or a record deal, I hope he does an album independently. I find his voice better than micheal buble, clay aiken, any of the adult contemporary artists
