@sony822 Make sure the channel is linked to one certain channel in the mixer, open the gross beat in that channel in the mixer, done.

@ChannelJamil @blakebeforehand Read the Top voted comment by @2ndPortal He explains it there. Make sure to click the thumbs up on that one, cause people have the same problem as you. If you don't have the gear, it means you have the demo version.

@acedaface954 I think your problem is pretty much explained in this video... Using the different slots will solve it.

EVERYONE WHO CANT SEE THE GEAR, USE THE KEYBOARD CONTROL THEN RIGHT CLICK ON THE GREEN PANEL ON THE GROSS BEAT (ANY GREEN BUTTON) THEN CLIC CONNECT TO CONTROLER AND FIND THE KEYBOARD AND VOILA!

whats up bro. i got a problem that you can probably help me with. i just finished a hip hop project using gross beat in the master track. i export it and split the mixer tracks so i can master it in pro tools, but the gross beat data didn't effect the individual tracks...what do i do?

@MakeitBangBeats don't know if you've found out how to do it or not yet, but you have to apply the effect to each track

Im having a problem with Gross beat turning itself off when I start the whole track.... any ideas???? I cant play the track without having to re-enabling Gross beat....

i have noticed that when using grossbeat it only lasts for four beats. how do you stretch it out??? also sometimes i hear little pops on each beat. ever experience that?

@acedaface954 cause i wasnt shure my answer answers your question, then you could choose 2 slots then make first halfe of want it to do then on the second do the 2nd half. when the song goes just play the first part and right after, play the second half. (you know you can modifie the slots(right clic to add a dot...))

How do I apply gross beat to a single pattern without having that particular gross beat repeat throughout the entire song?

@ShaolinSoldier automation. open up your mixer. right click the knob to the right of the fx slot you've placed grossbeat on and select create automation clip. from there you can shape the clip anyway you want.

@LiftingPeanuts go to the 2'nd page on this commentboard, and check out the steps of phattyBANGAbeats69 (posted 2 months ago). I followed his steps and used the 'Fruity Keyboard Controller' and linked it to grossbeat (as in rightclicking on the grossbeat options to change up the beat and click 'link to controller') But just follow his steps and you'll be good :) have fun

this video is outdated i think, here is how you can setup grossbeat for automation, credit goes to FL Forums.

1.Feed the audio you want to Grossbeat-ize to whatever mixer channel you want

2.Insert Grossbeat on that mixer channel and set up the time and or volume slot envelopes any way you want. For this tutorial I just used the default set of patterns, and I've only linked the time slots.

3.Insert the Fruity Keyboard Controller. It's a generator (it receives MIDI input), so it's added as a step sequencer channel.

4.On the Keyboard Controller menu dropdown (black box right below PLUGIN-MISC-FUNC tabs) select presets>Gross Beat - white + black. This will map the 36 keys C4-B6 in even increments so that each sends the appropriate controller value for each of the 36 Gross Beat slots.

5.Now on the Gross Beat interface, right-click and select "link to controller".

6.On the internal controller dropdown of the remote control dialog, select the entry for "Kybd controller - note". Hit "accept" button

7.Make sure the keyboard controller channel has focus in the step sequencer, hit play, press some keys on your MIDI keyboard (or use the typing keyboard) and glitch out."

take ur pattern1 , single kick drum

go to the mixer , right click onna channel

LINK TO CONTROLLER ,(or summin)

u then have ur kick in your mixer .... singled out ........add the gross beat in plug in drop box.....
