I love this woman! She reminds me of my wild granny who was a '20's flapper! Those women had really lived life and had a lot of good advice about love.

Sophie was dipicted in Broardwalk Empire on HBO. It took place in 1920 where Sophie played the local clubs and concert halls. She sand and told risque jokes. The presentation was remarkable. It as real as it's gonna get, in Sophie words. It's a must see.

Perhaps the most underrated musical giant in the business! She could stop the show just by raising an eyebrow. I don't trust any other artist to attempt playing her on screen but Bette Midler. And sometimes I wonder about her!
