@twst1 No worries. I haven't checked in for some time. Actually, the tone is mostly the Les Paul and i"m playing through a small Roland "Cube" practice amp, which doesn't do me any justice. You should hear it through my Modded Marshall Plexi!!! :O)

good but u can play it a much simpler way, instead of a power chord u use ur first finger to bar the 7th fret and use ur middle finger on the b string 8th fret, 3rd, and 5th frets bared for the other notes and same position as on the 7th and 8th fret

It is not drop D, it is actually a drop C#. For years we all thought it was drop D, but if you listen carefully, that chunky sound is much more accurate when done the low E is tunned down to C#. Try it and let me know. I think drop C# is more accurate than drop D.
