  • Thanks for posting this. I cut the flange as prescribe in the last half of the vid and it came up after a few more cuts, but all I could visualize was the vid. I have no idea how much a plumber would have charged for labor, but I didn't have to pay it this very day!!! I can't believe how much I've learned today, this was great!!!

    lol thats what happened to me, on a 18 year old pvc pipe. ended up cracking it half way down. Maybe heat might help alittle better? Ended up just cutting the flange off and then getting a small diameter closet flange(push-tite) to go on in the inside of the 3" pvc pipe.
