Here ive had a seal leaped out of the fucking water like 20 ft away from me my friend and i yelled shark and took the first set in....fun wave but try to keep those toes up. wssc
Cold gray winter days. Creepy place to surf alone. Very sharky with head like kelp bulbs poping up and hitting board as you paddle out through massive rip in bay. Makes an easy get out (unless massive set sneaks through) Waves have juice. Can slap you upside the head. Rag doll you. For whitey....
I've paddled out here alone once or twice and agree that it gives off a real sharky vibe. Seals all over the place!!! Good times...and since it's rarely crowded you get tons of waves.
That's because there are sharks out there...I live in New Zealand now. In Taranaki. No crowds here. Come on down. Need some company for empty waves. Santa Cruz brahs always welcome. - cheers!

perfect and barreling with long ruler type lines - that is rare sight but it was an amazing site to behold - had similar power/size of la Nord ( France) on an epic day
during the "foo" swell saw it 5x overhead and perfect...only if you screwed up you died...2 guys out...said it was "fun" after...think no channel and if you need to get to shore without riding a wave you basically need to drift all the way to Cowell's first...that gave me real respect for the north coast crew...

Scotts Creek jacks so hard at 10 feet or it did in the early 80s. This and big Lane were my fave spots.
