Well, I think the other leopard was bigger more than the hyena was smaller. This leopard looks more on the average size, and I think the other leopard was just a bigger leopard in general.

But the fact is, there's a reason Leopards run from a Hyena 90% of the time and that's because they know that Hyenas are a threat. There's only one way an animal can register another animal as a threat and that's years and years of having bad run in's with them.

Hyenas change targets. They either go for one kill, but when it gets away they go for another, building down to the weakest of the herd.

105km, A leopard is heavier, more muscular on the shoulders and legs, longer paws, longer claws, canines are the same size.. so it means a leopard is stronger then a hyena, but becuase the leopard does not fight back because it doesnt want to risk injuries, but if the hyena is injured, it has its own clan to support it with food. But a leopard wouldnt even fight 1 on 1 fight with any other animal that is competitive with it. But if it had to for its cubs sake, it would destroy the hyena.

I have no problem with Leopards I like Leopards too, sure they have strong jaws and neck muscles but that doesn't change the fact that Hyenas have stronger jaws then a Leopard.

Hyenas have the strongest jaws and can practically snap the limbs off any animal. although, hyenas have weak hind quartas and rely on the main four quarta muscles to hold the prey down. Leopards are built to the max, hind and for quarta leg muscles help drag 240kg prey up trees. the strong neck muscles can limit the bite pressage from the hyena and the 2 inch canines can rip the jugular out of the hyena.

But the fact is, there's a reason Leopards run from a Hyena 90% of the time and that's because they know that Hyenas are a threat. There's only one way an animal can register another animal as a threat and that's years and years of having bad run in's with them.

hyena's dont even take fuckin leopards food...they just start eating on the food while the leopards eating...the hyena's dont even attack them or chase them away the leopard just leaves because it doesnt want to be around a dumbshit animal and catches it own again.

The leopard dosent want to risk injuries - thas right... But tell me - why is the hyena so bold? Isnt it afaraid of injuries? The calculation - if the leopard is afraid of injuries, but the hyena isnt = that means the leopard could do less injuries. - its evolution - the leopards that werent afraid died, the leopards that were, diddnt and produced cubs, who were olso afraid... But the hyenas that werent afraid diddnt die and thats why they are still not afraid of leopards...

hyena's never case leopards away from their food they just leave...hyena's get chased away and attacked by leopards all the time proving leopard is stronger...the reason you dont see leopards trying to take a hyena's meal because they arent scavengers.

your blatant big cat fanboyism is blinding you. no way do hyena's get chased off by leopards all the time. even lions have trouble doing that. scavenging and bullying others off their kill shows the scavenger is more dominant. that's why it's mostly lions and hyena's that do it. leopards and cheetah's have to hunt for most of their food, they're not strong or dominant enough to force other animals away from their kills. I love big cats and hyena's, but just had to point out you're quite wrong.

or you could say hyena's and lions hunt in packs because they're highly intelligent and have a social structure. either way I think a single leopard against a single hyena would be quite an even match. but the leopard would suffer more in the long run since it's a lone predator and is pretty much fucked if it's injured. the hyena doesn't seem to fear the leopard in the slightest here. it just nonchalantly goes back to its food.

105km, A leopard is heavier, more muscular on the shoulders and legs, longer paws, longer claws, canines are the same size.. so it means a leopard is stronger then a hyena, but becuase the leopard does not fight back because it doesnt want to risk injuries, but if the hyena is injured, it has its own clan to support it with food. But a leopard wouldnt even fight 1 on 1 fight with any other animal that is competitive with it. But if it had to for its cubs sake, it would destroy the hyena.
