i bet i can win at these guys..prob not the brown skin guy they are tough but i can beat the asian guy and the guy with the mustache they are jokers and cant fight id bust tht lip bring it on JOKERS!!! i bench way more than those jokers so bring that on!! the guy who benches more wins at fighting!
@cheeesefunnel youve never even stepped foot into a dojang/dojo/gym ever have you? that why martial arts were created,to take away brute force and add technique to the equation. and i promise you the man in the red jacket would have you taken care of before you even realized the fight was on.also your chest has very little to do with punching power, your power comes from your working foot, hips, and shoulders
@Hewkll Karate and TKD are nearly identical except that TKD has more emphasize on kicks because Koreans are usually very tall. As for a street fight, either will work if you are good enough.
Well, if you are looking to attack ppl on the street you shouldn't use either. If you mean for selfdefence, Id'd suggest krav maga or ju-jutsu. However, Ive practiced both shotokan karate and ITF taekwon-do, and i preffer TKD. Both because i like kicking, and also because we spend less time doing kata and kihon, basic tec, and more time striking pads. For me, i feel that gives more
@Hewkll Depends on how you are taught and how much skill you have learn and put to use. Karate is all different and so is tkd. If a person utilize the basic and intermidate blocks and kicks of each art they should be able to defend themself well. Now to complete yourself, you need a ground art like brazilian ju jitsu incase your ever on your back fighting for your life.
Depends on who your fighting. When people learn a practical martial art, its for two reasons. 1.) For competition and 2.) For Self defense. If your talking street fighting, it doesn't really matter what style you choose. If your opponent isn't a trained fighter as well, you'll kick his ass, but if your learning for competition with mixed styles, such as mma or vale tudo, then you should learn a few practical moves from TKD and concentrate on more balanced styles of striking, such as kickboxing.
