This game is a combination of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy series, and especially, which everone knows, Super Mario Bros. 3, with the acception of Super Mario World, because the "Items" block returns with A Mushroom, Fire Flower, Super Leaf, Boomerang Flower, and Super Star (and possibly more) in it, and at 0:31 to 0:36, listen to the music beat. Doesn't that sound familiar to the theme song in the first two stages of Mario World, only sped up? I think so :)

@superaaronreview98 Well Mario doesnt talk because if he did, it would be hard to find someone who can follow Charles Martinet (The voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi) up! just imagine when he dies there is no one who can do Marios voice that good. So thats why Mario only yells and crys. Every one can do the Yahoo!

This looks like it will be one of the best games for the 3DS.Mario Kart 7 looks better though but Super Mario 3D Land still looks pretty fun.
