  • is that correct to bent the knee on the front on the 3rd position? Because as I see she bents the one on the front after tendu backwards...

  • I remember this!

  • ohen' xorowe uprajnenie , osobenno dlya novihkov !!!!

  • whats the song called?

  • ridiculous turn out!!

  • arent these all supposed to close in 5th?

  • @dancermazza411 not neccessarliy.

  • che brava

  • i love her legs they are not super mega thin like a lot of other ballerinas =) they look perfect !!! oh and by the way is 14 too late to start ballet ??

  • @xXsillyXLilyXx Never!

  • @balletbabe13 Thank you !

  • @xXsillyXLilyXx No 14 is not to late. I know 21 year olds who just started. They made progress between three weeks.

  • @HumanStorm2010 Great I will probably start then, Thank you!

  • it would be better if she didnt bend her knee every time she comes into fifth

  • can she ummm straighten her knee???

  • bendy? ? lolz

  • i was taught not to sickle so that was the only part i didnt like but her 5th is really good :)

  • her 5th is the most beutiful i saw!

  • she has a beautiful 5th! Wow.

  • the movements are kind of jerky and should be more relaxed and graceful. also, she looks at the ground too much.

  • Good feet :) Just work your hand a bit :)

  • try not moving your hips so much

    and tuck in your thumb!

  • careful hun

watch your arm and work on closing completely first

is you have hyper extesion, try to bend your knees just a teeny bit

i have to that when i do ronde jambe

  • Its not her hyper extension, she is perfectly capable of touching her knees, we know because she does it on the first one. I'd say lazy technique.

  • the feet ar not close enough and hips are moving...

  • this in the rock schools studio D right??????

  • The hips are moving a bit toooooo much....

  • foot position ...

  • when you close your leg into fifth after a tondu, careful , you are bending your knee.

  • she is moving her hips and sinking into 1 not all the way!!!!!!

  • she is an amazing dancer. she does hyper extend her knees though. when she first begins the routine is it me or does it seam as though she is leaning towards the right? (or her left)

  • It's kinda olbvious who's a relatively young dancer by their reply.

Dancers who have hyper extended knees can not close their heels all the way. If you notice, this dancer closes her thighs and knees all the way, it's only her feet that don't full close.

What you should notice is that her hips remain absolutely square during the entire exercise, her carriage is lifted, her arm is beautiful, her toe is perfectly pointed and that she's using the force of the brush on the floor to point.

  • so true.

    thank you for correcting.

  • yea your right. my knees also hyper extend and i can get my heels to touch. should i bend them to close 1st position or should i completely straighten them and leave the space between my heels?

  • Aim to close your knees, not your heels. Your thighs are like ziplock, that's what is squeezing, not your feet.

  • She is sinking into her fifth each time she closes. My teacher taught us to lift up through the hips each time you close in fifth, and it prevents that "sinking" appearance. It's so slight, but it makes a difference.

  • gahh, she isn't closing her first position all the way or tight enough. bothers me.

  • same x

  • She has hyper extended knees, so she CAN'T close her heels all the time.

Go look at 90% of dancers and you will see the same thing.

  • she should close more tightly in first and use her head

  • Good tendus, but why do they close in first sometimes? Shouldn't they close in 5th? Or is that just a different way to do them?

  • she has to make sure to FULLY close in first

  • I think it's the the studios of the Rock in Philadelphia.

  • not closing her first all the way.

  • yeah that bothered me too

  • Scroll down like four comments to see why she's not closing her knees all the way.

  • where is this?

  • if i'm informed correctly it is in Amsterdam, but i'm not sure

  • I think it's the Rock School in Philly too.
