gt5 NEEDS b-spec. I dont wanna spend literally an entire day just to win a race.

I think The point system handicapps you aswell but you still must tune even for b-spec If you read the tutorials at the bottom of each settting you can win with sheer grip and the draft if you tune correctly for each track., see my page for some examples of this.

There are two ways- before the race or during the race via pit stop. Before each race, you have the option to run in A-Spec or B-Spec. Just highlight the B-Spec option and confirm to race in B-Spec. The other method is by competing in long races with pit stops. You have an option to select "B-Spec" to allow the AI driver to complete the race for you. Of course, you can go back to "A-Spec" with another pit stop. B-Spec is great if you have no time to complete longer races on your own.

B-Spec in GT4 essentially makes you a race director as you try to "coach" your AI driver to victory by using a set of commands. Some hated this because it takes away from earning your victories without an AI driver's help. B-Spec is available for almost all races except rallies, the 34 mission stages, license tests, and the like. To some, it's a chance to win races you can't win on your own. But to others, it's to help the computer play the game itself for you, and I don't buy that to be honest.

Yes. I think you should be able to have B-Spec too. But, I also think that if PD would implement and new and much cooler B-Spec(teammate), would be online. Get a friend(s) and team up and tackle Endurance races like Le Mans 24 Hours, "ring 24, Rolex 24, and the 1000km Suzuka. I think it would be so much more realistic than just handing it over to you tamed racing driver in your PS3. AND, keep the stock B-Spec just in case you want to tackle a race or two by yourself!

I have never understood the concept about b-spec. I mean that you can set the gran turimso 4 to win your races for you, if u have a good car, otherwise u will loose xD. thanks and bye
