Hi. I liked your vid and thought it was quite funny. I'm a girl, eat incredibly healthy and am not at all overweight. However I don't have that flat stomach like I did in my teenage years. I know you suggested doing sit ups/crunches but everytime I try I experience chronic back pain. Do you have any suggestions for how I can approach this situation? Thanks :)
@georginaberryful well , as long as your body fat percentage is low enough, your stomach will flatten. so yeah, crunchs can help with that, but i would suggest overall core movements .it will also strengthen your back. and also doing interval training to lean up and get the body fat percentage needed to get a flatter stomach.no slow , long cardio .focus high protein , low carb diet ,on your body fat percentage, and strengthning your core

The Ab Doer actually does work man. I've owned one for about six months, used it 3-4 times a week, and it actually does work. No, it won't give you the strongest core ever, but it worked better for me at dropping fat, while gaining core strength than doing things like crunches, leg lifts, etc.
There are a lot of b.s. items out there on the market. Hell, half the equipment in a gym is unnecessary, but actually try the product out, before you bash it just because "it's on tv"
@Jaymon1203213 Thank God it works for some ppl, I have been bed ridden for the best part of 2 years and the abdoer twist seems kinda doable and a worthwhile purchase. Simple tasks are agony for me. At least the abdoer twist would let me do a bit of core work without falling over or passing out and a seat to rest on if it got too much for me. I am not looking to get ripped abs or super fit just well enough to stand up to do the most basic tasks and rebuild my body.
@TheGirlyPantz It does work, you just have to be careful not to overdo it when you start. Leaning forward too much, or trying to keep up until the end of the videos could cause problems. Just sit up straight, and do what you can do, and the next time you do it, aim to add another 10 seconds.
I'd also recommend scouring places like ebay and craigslist for them. The twist model seems a little too gimmicky. I got the extreme model, for a lot less used, and it's worked fine.
@Jaymon1203213 Thanks for the info, I am very sure I wont be keeping up with any videos any time soon because even Wii fit is too much for me atm hehe, but I will have to remember not to over do it because it will find muscles I haven't used in over 2 years. I will look at ebay but I want the extra rods and rollers so I can up the resistance as I get stronger, price isn't really an issue though because it is for my health and I am overdue for a treat.

You're ignorant. Not everyone is a meat head like you. Some people just want to tone. And not everyone has good joints, knees, etc. I've performed exercises like in this video without the abdoer and obtained results. This machine is to supplement these normal exercise movements with better support. It's not going to work out for you and you have to use form. You are focusing on marketing tactics, which confirms your ignorance. I work in marketing for a living, and I exercise asshole.
Your case is weak on the abdoer. Some of the things you are saying I agree with, but your only pointing out marketing tactics and play on word scenarios. Comfortable seat. You say fuck comfort. That's real intelligent. I'm a cyclist & my bike seat comfort is important. Minutes a day. 30 minutes a day is "minutes a day." While watching TV. Another marketing ploy, but who cares. Would it be better if they said with the TV on? Of course products are advertised like this and it's just marketing!

To much for keeping it real... Your advice put me back on track, I was actually contemplating getting one of these abdoers, but than I saw your video...I'm happy I run into it, seems these things are not really necesary, they might be good for people doing rehabilitation or something, not sure.

@PhysionMusicNL well what i would suggest is to watch your diet and to stick to the regular ab exercises. i would recomment the ab wheel. its tough at first but its one of the greatest thigns ive ever tried! watch your diet as well, do cardio, try interval training, theres nothing better to lose weight, and use the ab wheel and other classic ab exercises proven to work, and youll be havin my abs sooner then you think :)

@Dreadedaries Did you try it at least? :) You should try it first and then compare it to a hand job. I do not believe it makes you stronger, but I do believe it can help define your arms quite a lot.
id like to point out that yes you can lose your love handles if you work your side abs enough. which is quite possible with the ab doer. i lost mine simply by doing side situps.
@jellybeans456 was it the one and only area where you lost weight after doing this? did you weigh yourself , and were u on a diet. when you lose fat, certain areas will lose it faster then others but its always an overall loss, never a spot loss, and if u listened u woulda heard me say it. make your own research on spot fat removal and see for yourself if my knowledge isnt enough for your abdoer experience. thx for watching

I just recieved the abdoer twist a week ago! So far it doesnt seem to bad, but i also do my turbo jam dvds! I love ur video i hate when people try to do things the lazy way. U feel better when u work!! I have more energy when i do my cardio tapes! I like kick boxing! But i had to give the abdoer twist a try too! Ill see how that machine works for me i guess!

@xbox ive been into fitness for quite some time and have tried it all. im qualified enough to know how muscles work and what stimulates them. theres certain laws that enter into the way muscles respond , and only certain types of stimulations promote muscle growth or fat loss. those products are scam, and if ever they were legit, youd see pro bodybuilders and athletes like me using them. if you know how to score a touchdown, you can tell if someone is doing it right or wrong right off the batt
@Dreadedaries Love your video. I bought the original ab doer along time ago when I was first getting into shape and it was the biggest waste of $100 I ever spent. You don't even break a sweat with it. It ended up some years later getting tossed in the special pick up as I didn't have the nerve to rip someone off by selling it to them. As for the shake weight, I thought that was something Trey Parker and Matt Stone made up for South Park. I didn't know it was an actual product.

All I have to say is P90X :) Works like a charm if you have 60mins a day to do it in. Majority of the population doesn't have that kind of time to workout though.

Thank you so much for posting this up. I literally just canceled my order 1 hour ago for the ab-doer twist. Not because of your video, but because of their poor customer service. I was told that if I placed my order for the 5-payment plan options I'd receive it in 2-3 weeks. So I called 2 days ago to change my order to the full-payment option which then boosts my order to the front of the line and therefore get it in 1 week. But nope, called today to discover that my order was never changed!!
Just about any piece of fitness equipment works, even lots of the stuff you see on tv. The reason alot of ppl dont see results is they dont stay on track and do these workouts several days a week. They also dont change their eating habits. I use the abdoertwist and I also go to the gym to work more on my arms, chest and get cardio done. I have seen great results from the adboer. You just gotta stick with it and not expect easy results.
@skulltagfilms you got some god points. but some things just dont work according to the human body ( shake weight ) , and its better to go accordin to the human evolution, wich has made us evolve over millenias through carrying free weights and our own weight . thats why calistenics, and free wieght are best. because the human body hasnt evolved around those fancy machines. but you got great points about dedication and diet! keep it up! and happy new year
While I understand your point about frauds and some people who are under the impression that they can put no effort in and still get results. You have a VERY biased view. Firstly, you clearly have no disabilities of any kind. While these machines might not be world class quality - they provide people with the opportunity to do some light exercise when they otherwise might not be able to. And thats just it, some people do want LIGHT exercise, they dont want to look like you and be bulky.

what works for you wont always work for someone else. everyones body is made differently and we respond to different stimuli and we all have difference biomechanics(the way we move) and we obviously have different genetics.

I’m 47 yrs old and 185 lbs, and have been using the shake weight for about a month. I have definitely noticed my arms looking bigger and more like they use to when I had pipes; albeit my wife has not mentioned anything yet, but that likely says more about my wife than the shake weight. I however have found a noticeable increase in the upper arm measurement and a noticeable improvement in definition. The chest and shoulders are starting to feel like they have some muscle too.

@PhysionMusicNL well what i would suggest is to watch your diet and to stick to the regular ab exercises. i would recomment the ab wheel. its tough at first but its one of the greatest thigns ive ever tried! watch your diet as well, do cardio, try interval training, theres nothing better to lose weight, and use the ab wheel and other classic ab exercises proven to work, and youll be havin my abs sooner then you think :)

You don't even break a sweat with it. It ended up some years later getting tossed in the special pick up as I didn't have the nerve to rip someone off by selling it to them. Not to mention, the customer service guy today told me that he sees a record of my call to change my order but the woman who assisted me previously never changed it! WTH! Thank you so much for posting this up. I literally just canceled my order 1 hour ago for the ab-doer twist. Not because of your video, but because of their poor customer service. I was told that if I placed my order for the 5-payment plan options I'd receive it in 2-3 weeks. So I called 2 days ago to change my order to the full-payment option which then boosts my order to the front of the line and therefore get it in 1 week. Just about any piece of fitness equipment works, even lots of the stuff you see on tv. The reason alot of ppl dont see results is they dont stay on track and do these workouts several days a week. They also dont change their eating habits. I use the abdoertwist and I also go to the gym to work more on my arms, chest and get cardio done. I have seen great results from the adboer. You just gotta stick with it and not expect easy results.

While I understand your point about frauds and some people who are under the impression that they can put no effort in and still get results. You have a VERY biased view. Firstly, you clearly have no disabilities of any kind. While these machines might not be world class quality - they provide people with the opportunity to do some light exercise when they otherwise might not be able to. I’m 47 yrs old and 185 lbs, and have been using the shake weight for about a month. I have definitely noticed my arms looking bigger and more like they use to when I had pipes; albeit my wife has not mentioned anything yet, but that likely says more about my wife than the shake weight. I however have found a noticeable increase in the upper arm measurement and a noticeable improvement in definition. The chest and shoulders are starting to feel like they have some muscle too.

Thx my friend for this vid! I got the ABDONER Twist for free from a friend. He used it as a hat stand like most of the people does :-) I was almost happy, taking it at home ... and had no idea, what to do with it. So i watched your vid and now i know, i put it in Ebay instantly! ... but not with a clear conscience ... an other bad ass will buy it. ... And i will buy me a new pair of running shoes!!! i have the old ab-doer and it works .....im glad to cause i just had a kid so im not lazy , i cant be with my kid lol ... but i do agree with you on the shake weight lol it looks like its a hand job trianer for girls lol .. my boyfriend said they should put a water sprayer in it lol the harder you shake the more it sprays lols

Hahahah so true, now it seems everything about working out is done in ten minutes :/... i prefer hardcore 4-6hours of painstaking workouts lol no pain no gain!!!! Those items do work your muscles but only certain limited muscles kinda like those stabilizer muscles i guess lol!!!! But the all time best is those Diet commercials lol!!!!
