You should make more videos like this. You wouldn't believe some of the makeup videos I've seen on youtube--I was curious. These people change the whole shape of their nose with illusion, and lips.

You have a strong platform, and a true positive voice. Your right! Too true! You don't need makeup. But on the real, you don't need to be surprised that the opposite sex & others will treat you way different without makeup. Men are beautiful creatures, but they are base. Never dress up for a man or anyone else, do it to highlight your positive feelings about yourself. Wonderful video!
I know a friend who wears make up everyday, everywhere, because of a certain skin defect, and it has become a necessity for her. But she always said to me "you control them, not them controlling you" and even though she only goes out bare faced for +- 10 days in a year, when she does, she doesn't feel uncomfortable or embarrassed or less of a person. Some people love make up, some people need make up, and that's okay as long as you dont let it control your life. Great video :)
you don't need makeup to feel pretty and if anyone says that they need to check themselves. you don't need makeup to love how you look or for anyone to love you. i totally agree :)

i think its great that i stumbled upon this video, because today i actually felt like i didnt want to wear make up anymore cuz it started to frustrate me, having to cover my flaws and blemishes ALL the time, feelin like id be ugly without wearing any makeup at all... i appreciate this video and will love myself and be ME with or without make up

Great advice!!!!!!! I don't use make up, I am saving for when I am in sixties or seventies, because by then my face won't have its youthful radiant look; so I will need makeup rescue. I strongly discourage young girls applying makeup in their earlier ages. Too much makeup, specially foundations, damage skin tone on the face. And the more makeup you put; the more addicted you became to it and the more ugliest you become without it. So please, stop the viscous cycle before it happens to you.
I agree. I don't wear makeup everyday. I don't wear foundation in the summer, the time is simply too hot for all that. I don't need it to be fair but even if you have a lot of blemishes you want to conceal I think you should still take a break from all the chemical and just rock the natural look. Also, I find when I finally wear makeup after a long break, it looks better the next time I apply it. My skin adheres better.
and if i had the choice in life, i would NEVER wear makeup every single day and hurt my skin with all them chemicals..but my skin had real problems and it was so sad to be the only 1 out of all my friends, or anybody i know in my school to look that horrible in my skin. I hated it and I still get these problems,now my scars are so bad its just horrible
Sorry to hear that, I have hyperpigmentation left from moderate acne, I am using turmeric and other natural remedies to lessen their appearance. Also, look up colon cleansing (like the salt water flush) etc, cleansing yourself from inside helps the outside. :-)
Hey I just wana add that I have had realy bad skin growing up the worst possible acne a girl could have,i mean it looked like i had a rash on my face or some type of infection and it never went away, I used 2 try cover it and people would tell me to stop wearing SO Much makeup but no matter how bad I looked..I still didnt care bcoz when I took the makeup OFF they would be like shitt.....and think put it back on! that is nasty!
There's a difference between needing and wanting, isn't there? You don't need makeup to live your life well, but you might want to do your makeup because... It makes you smile, you think it's fun, like I do.

I only wear makeup when I'm going out to dinner or clubbing but at work, NOPE. I'm always bare faced. I'm really focused on skin care, I have an acne problem, that in turn cause dark spots, but I'm still fly.
Well as a woman who wears make-up daily, I use it to cover my ulgy skin. I have pcos and it has cause me to have a over growth of hair on my face. The worst mistake I made was shave it, now I have dark hair bumps all along my jaw line. I use make-up to hide this. I wish I had beautiful skin so I can go out with a clean face. I wish I could look in a mirror and think Im beautiful but that ain't happening. Pretty girls always want to make comments such as these.
Why not look up lemons and turmeric powder?(I'm using that currently, I see a little progress) I've heard about Bio Oil.... search some safe homemade treatments, you may find something.
