Great cinematography and lighting. Love maltese falcon! Poor use of the tape and polaroid. Kind of becoming an overly recycled genre, but well done regardless.

Check out some other film noirs like:

"The Maltese Falcon" (1941)

"Key Largo" (1948)

"The Asphalt Jungle" (1950).

They are more inspiring to me than Sin City. I used red because of the phone and just continued the theme.

This is a masterpiece of independant film noir. Love the voiceover, cinematography is AMAZING!!!!! Good ending, everything was AWESOME i dont know why they didn't pick this one in the top 10

Film Noir is a bit racy but that's the point. Sex, Violence, Mystery. It's all there in true form but in an artful way.

It's a style thats been re-imagine with films like Brick and Sin City but not done in the original format. I'd love to give it a comeback.

The average youtube viewer watches only a 2-3 minute video. They decide if they like it within 30-60 seconds.

When I edited the video I set it up for pacing, not time. When I saw that it was right about 3:45, I cut it back to something more commercially fitting. It is my experience that when you have the full time for a film, you should not take advantage of the full time.

Once you watch the video you understand why what he says is so crucial to what happens. Also why the items in the room are not always consistent.
