Halo 4 does not have the reach engine from the video you can see that they are alot better than reach graphics 10x more realistic as they are pushing the xbox gpu to its maximum as they say in the video so they will more likely be closer to bf3 but still with that slight cartoonish looke in the halo we know and love.

Most likely if they were to kill Master Chief off within the next 3-4 games he would simply be replaced by someone new/different. Seeing as how big of a giant the Halo franchise is, and that 343 has just recently picked up the ability to create a full-fledged halo game, they will most likely try to milk it for all it's worth. After all, it worked for Call Of Duty.

Covenant is definitely not the antagonist. Developers for Halo 4 have been saying for a while that Halo 4 will be a "Forerunner feast." Canon-based speculation either puts the Didact as the main antagonist or The Timeless One. Based on Halo: Primordium, leaning more on the Timeless One but Halo CEA terminals kind of hint at the Didact being a negative force.
