The best day of my life happened in Keller in 1975 . That was the day I left . If the doctor tells you , you only have six days to live you can move to Keller and it will seam like six years .
That is the Keller I remember from when I was in grades 6 thru 8 in the mid-to-late 1960s. It hardly resembles this today with all of the progress over the past 40 years. Dairy farms and ranches are now housing subdivisions. I loved the time I lived in that area, and had to leave a lot of really good friends when my dad was transferred out of the state in his job. Small town Keller will always live in my heart.
OMG...can't believe I just saw the Pulliams....I am getting old for sure...and holy hell...the old rock gym. Man....that is bringing up some sick memories....wow.
Great film! i moved to Keller in 1993, partly because of the evident planning that had gone into the community. I am sure that both the city and the Keller Library would love to have copies of this for their archives.
Great video. My parents built their home in 1955 and I went to keller elementary as well. Also graduated in Keller. I lived on Mt. Gilead road, close to where Roanoke road intersects. I loved growing up out there.
Awesome to see the little Keller I grew up with. All the fields and woods I grew up playing in, all paved over now. BTW, Puppet, I lived just up the hill from Mt Gilead, on Oakhill.
I moved to Keller in August 1972. This was so cool to see. I went to that elementary school and that was the high school I graduated from. I lived on Mt. Gilead Rd. just over the hill from the church. Really cool flashback!
