i preferred Everybody Loves A Happy Ending to the albums that Roland put out under the TFF name in the 90's, but they were good albums they were unfairly dismissed by critics. By the time Raoul dropped, the music world at large just didn't want to know about them. it came out at the wrong time, right in the middle of the alt.rock and trip-hop boom. it just goes to show how fickle music fans are, including critics.

Even Seeds of Love was dismissed by some for being too pretentious. silly.

Underated masterpiece IMHO, Tears were by far the best band of the 80's/90's

IMHO, they took the best influences of The Beatles, Doors, David Bowie etc to

create timeless classic but ORIGINAL songs. The recording equipment in the 80's was goodenough to capture their sound, too bad their videos stink but if you want a treat listen to Big Chair & Seeds of Love on good headphones, it will still blow you away if you have any ear for great production & music.
