@ultimaoblivionboy no it doesnt matter personaly I use one but you can do them on pad and yes of course you can do them all othewise they wouldnt be in the game and No I cant tell you how to do every trail because A) that'd take too much time B) I havn't done them all myself and C) no offence but if you needed advice to do one special I doubt you'd be able to do some of the harder trails.

I'm stuck on Trial 16... I am normally good with Vega, but I can't seem to get the Bloody High Claw to follow the Focus Attack... What level of focus attack do you need to use?

I mean, do you hit then finish the ultra in the cool down, or do you dash forward, if so, how do you get the charge done?

I know vega's bloody high claw super can now be used more effectively as an anti air move, thanks to that added knee move of his but can the super still bypass fireballs/projectiles?

Can the super be performed without the knee move like in the original or does it come out depending on the circumstance?

Yes, Ultra 1 can go through fireballs, but only during the part AFTER he makes contact with the wall. He is still vulnerable to attacks as he is making his way up there. I've been knocked out of an Ultra plenty of times to learn that not only do you get stuffed out of performing the Ultra, your Revenge Gauge still goes to empty whether you make it to the wall or not. :(

Man. I'm hopeless. I'm stuck on 18 and 19. With 18, if I even get the third LP to go off, he's somehow too far for the fourth. In 19, I don't understand how that charge can even work. Do I charge beforehand and FADC? If so, does the charge magically hold through the Cosmic Heel? Urgh. I love Vega, but these trials are going to be the end of my insanity.

It took me more than 11 months to complete Vega's trials in SFIV(especially Hard Trial 1)......it took me 20 mins to complete them in SSFIV. LOL. Just goes to show how much improvement you can make...

trial 24 is actually very easy, you can charge for Splendid Claw quite long just make sure cosmic heel hits the stomach/leg area

It's all in the charge how do you do that charge? I notice you did a crouching heavy attempting it, do you slide the direction WHILE you to the cosmic heel? Is that the charge? Because I've been doing it , and still not getting anything.

I just did it. Hitting Dan's feet as he falls helps A LOT, but you've got to remember to start charging BEFORE Vega connects with the Cosmic Heel. The instant he starts moving you will charge your command.

After that, just be accurate with the motion part of the command.

What if the opponent is in a grap proximity range can Bloody High Claw be performed then without the launch?

I have a habbit of using Vega's crounch forward H. kick trying to bait a ground opponent into performing a wake up move so I can counter it with Bloody High Claw. I don't think I'll be able to do it in SSF4 with that added launch move, unless the move has a good priority.

easy as soon as you hit the FA dash forward then start charging db and do the ultra before they hi the ground... this also works for guiles ultra

Okay cool thanks. I usually do Ultra1 on the wall closest to Vega(his back). But to launch the opponent I will need to do it on the wall closest to the opponent. What I dont know is, are there any frames of invincibility when you Ultra 1 closest to the opponent? Or would something like say....a fireball knock you out of it?

@bloodstormxl its not an ex barcelona attack. Capcom added that little hit for vega's ultra 1 to make it more usable than just on fireball characters. if you look closley u'll notice how he doesn't flash yellow

yeah I know but I just wanted to show the other way which is guaranteed after a focus you just have to practice the timing etc
