It's amazing what Joseph has done. He translated the Book of Mormon, became the first Latter Day Prophet, faced persecution and hatred, loved everyone and tried to be the best father he could. He did all this so that we could have the truth here on the earth today for our benefit. I shall stick by God and Joseph forever. I know that the LDS church is the true world of God and I invite all those who aren't LDS to repent and to come unto God.

I'm reading the book Joseph Smith: Rough Stone Rolling by Richard Lyman Bushman. I didn't realize this before reading the book, but Joseph translated the Book of Mormon in only 3 months!! I already knew the Book of Mormon is true, but learning that an uneducated farm boy of 22 years translated the book in 3 months further confirms my belief. It isn't possible that he could have written that book.

People who claim the Book of Mormon is not God's word have never even attempted to understand the background of how it came to be. The restoration is truly as it was foretold in by Isaiah "a marvelous work and a wonder."
I love the story behind 3:02. It shows the power and conviction that the Prophet had. He possessed a righteous indignation that only those under the service of God can possess. Truly he was a prophet of the most high God! Praise to the man!

He means the first latter-day prophet, of THIS dispensation. Adam was God's first prophet, and others included Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Samuel, etc. There have been prophets on the earth whenever God's kingdom has been on the earth.

It's all true. Some of it might be hard to understand but it's all true. How generous the Lord is to give us that witness in our hearts and souls that His gospel has been restored and that we can enjoy the blessings of the restoration.

People don't decide to be negative because it feels good, it's because they don't know a better way. If we can help teach them, then we should.
it is truly wonderful to hear and read such wonderful testimonies of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Christ. i will soon be preparing for my 2 year mission and so now i add my own testimony that God lives and loves us as His children. i know this is the true church on the Earth today and that, through our faith and united strength of Spirit, the Enemy that is Satan will fall and our Father's Kingdom will fill the Earth forevermore, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

No, "Praise to the Man" is just one of our hymns honoring Joseph Smith the Prophet of God. We have plenty of other hymns (the majority) which center around our Savior Jesus Christ. Trust me, we worship God the Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was just the prophet chosen to usher in the last dispensation by restoring the Gospel THROUGH Jesus Christ.
Ya like that. In God bless America, we acknowledge God in the founding of our country, just like in Praise to the Man we acknowledge God in the restoration of the Gospel.

Joseph Smith was only called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, just like any other prophet in history

You know is very disturbing what people say about the LDS faith. What they didn't know out of the 5 people who paint the face of Jesus Christ. 4 of them are mormon and one is of another faith. Why is that?

This is an excellent video and one of my favorite hymns, great work. As for the anti-Mormon trash comments, don't worry. Satan will do anything to keep open-minded people from feeling the Spirit when it is trying to touch them.
So please, just enjoy the video, and if you have something against the Mormon church, at least learn to speak your mind peaceably and maturely. There are places to discuss religion, but I'm just not comfortable with all the anti-Mormon comments littering my video. However, if you're NOT here to put down the church and its members, I would love to continue to hear your feedback and comments.

No, "Praise to the Man" is just one of our hymns honoring Joseph Smith the Prophet of God. We have plenty of other hymns (the majority) which center around our Savior Jesus Christ. Trust me, we worship God the Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was just the prophet chosen to usher in the last dispensation by restoring the Gospel THROUGH Jesus Christ.

Ya like that. In God bless America, we acknowledge God in the founding of our country, just like in Praise to the Man we acknowledge God in the restoration of the Gospel.

@gueropuro69 I know you posted that question a while ago but if it helps at all, the word "praise" in the dictionary means to respect or honor. There is no worship of Joseph Smith in this church. Joseph Smith was only called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, just like any other prophet in history

No, we don't. but I could see how the title could be confusing to someone who is not a member. We sing this song to honor and remember the first prophet of the restored church.

@gueropuro69 We (LDS people) don't worship Joseph Smith. we worship God and his Son. But we wouldn't have this church today without Joseph Smith so we honor him,but not worship him. Hope you understand it.

Wow, nice arrangement! Very moving! Thanks for taking down all that anti-mormon stuff, or "cleansing the temple" so to speak. It's truly sad that most don't have any idea of what they're preching against, or they would already be baptized :P Hopefully with continued efforts such as yours, we can share the gospel and the message of Christ!

Beautiful... I just heard a Scottish worker here with us playing his bagpipes tonight. He was playing "Praise to the Man" and it is a famous Scottish Folk Tune that I will ask him more about later. It was breathtaking! I came over to YouTube and found your video... great job!
I truly miss that spirit that these hymns bring with them while I'm away like this... thanks.

I attended different churches and i never felt the Holy Spirit touch my heart until oneday i met a missionaries and they invited me to LDS church,upon entering at the hall i felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and that was the beginning i committ myself to Jesus Christ,,i got baptized and i received a lots of blessings from our Father in Heaven,,i had a lots of callings and one of them is in "Missionary Works"i love sharing the word of God that changes my life to be a better person.GOD BLESS

You know is very disturbing what people say about the LDS faith. What they didn't know out of the 5 people who paint the face of Jesus Christ. 4 of them are mormon and one is of another faith. Why is that?

This is an excellent video and one of my favorite hymns, great work. As for the anti-Mormon trash comments, don't worry. Satan will do anything to keep open-minded people from feeling the Spirit when it is trying to touch them.

So please, just enjoy the video, and if you have something against the Mormon church, at least learn to speak your mind peaceably and maturely. There are places to discuss religion, but I'm just not comfortable with all the anti-Mormon comments littering my video. However, if you're NOT here to put down the church and its members, I would love to continue to hear your feedback and comments.

Comments will now have to be approved by me because apparently anti-Mormons think this is a great place to come and argue their "views" (to say it politely.) Now don't get me wrong, I'm fine with theological discussions, just not on my page (a video meant to bring the Spirit and honor a man I love) and certainly not in the fashion in which it was taking place.

I don't understand why you get so mad at the LDS people. They do so much good in the world. They were some of the first humanitarian groups to respond to disasters alike huricane katrina. They are good people. Just becouse their beliefs are diffrent does not mean they deserve to be ridiculed. I don't see you people condeming others who don't believe in "your Christ" like Jews or Buddists. You should spend your time doing something productive inestead of tearing others down. WWJD?
