Firstly, where do you think England gets most of their water from? I'll tell you where, from reservoirs the English built here so they can receive free water for their cities. While I am entirely in favour of the SNP's plans to ensure the survival of Gaelic, for the nationalists who buy anti-english doctrine and use Gaelic as a banner of anti-english sentiment - that's what makes me disgruntled.
Gaelic is Scottish. Yes. Gaelic is not a nationalist weapon.

Jemery Paxman was taken to school by Eurfyl ap Gwilyn. He was ill prepared and his aggression and frustration at being put on the back foot repeatedly by Plaid Cymru's economic adviser, made for refreshing viewing.

If the index is 1.15 it is absolutely irrelevant, London is more expensive than the rest of the UK and its output and the tax take from it far exceeds 1.15x the rest of the country. It is by far and away the biggest contributor towards the rest of the UK. Wales on the other hand is in a completely different situation. Its output is around 0.7-0.8x the national average (a figure disproportionally high as much of that is public spending and as a result it recieves a far higher levels of subsidy.
