Apparently, there are UFOs on standby to show themselves whenever we try to contact them. Aside from being a neat lightshow, what's the point? Why not come on down for a chat? Why not beam down a message the earthlings can easily understand?
From what I understand--I make no claims for myself, just based on what I've read--there may be constraints on how they let themselves deal with us. Partly for us, partly for their sake; maybe b/c of agreements with our government. In some respects, the UFO phenomenon makes a lot more sense if you think of it in terms of covert contact by a species wary of showing too much of themselves, or causing panic here. Like Star Trek's Prime Directive--try not to upset the natives.
@atlasboogie well i think if we take this seriously that we can assume it isnt as simple as that. Think about what it is meaning- contact with another civilisation, the long game might show its best to let the race in question (us) go as far as we can.
@atlasboogie because they use to show more and they used to land more in the past but also we used to track them down and shoot them and now that we are becoming more advanced with all these secrets tech and weapons and advanced tracking the don't land or stay as long or stay still for very long because we might attack them and they don't wanna attack back
