People in the comments say "the cop didn't have his lights on" YEAH RIGHT, in fact, why would you be pulled over by a police officer if he didn't have his lights on?
I read some comments and I don't see any reason why the cop should have cut some slack on the female driver. If she hadn't been driving that fast in the first place, she wouldn`t have been pulled over and thus, the accident wouldn't have never happened. The only good thing was that the driver didn't crash elsewhere nor run over an innocent bystander.
@themooseisontheloose Kinda hard not to since theres a camera in the car, I'd laugh for hours if she said nothing was on, on his car .... After being Sworn into tell the truth lmao...
@BRAVOADD and then you would get in the shit hole for saying that because the minor fact YOU would be LIEING in court after being sworn into tell the truth.
hey it works both ways, you wanna use me as a witness, and give me a ticket? i didnt see shit you didnt have any lights on as far as im concerned, its called A DEAL, which if the girl had any brains, would have made.
@KinetikPlayground But then again that is illegal, trying to work your way out of a speeding ticket. Which means he would be breaking the law. If it wasnt on camera, i bet he may have considered changing it though...
I would go as a witness alright. Lights? What lights? The cop didn't even have blinkers on, let alone emergency lights. Oh, and his speech was slurred too, and he waddled when he walked over to my car. In fact now that I think about it, the gentleman was just parked behind the cop, and the cop put his car in reverse by mistake, hitting him. You got footage which says different? Gee...It must have been doctored.
That's crap! I'd be half tempted to be a witness in court stating he didn't have his lights on! If you're not cutting me a break, I'm not doing sh!t for you! I must say, though, 51 in a 35 is ridiculous! She definitely deserved that ticket!
@peterbilt2004 no kidding. I'd be like "you dispose of this ticket and i will back you up in court, if not, well, have a nice day trying to witness your own accident"
@peterbilt2004 I'd definitely have a memory problem at that point. I have no recollection of that fact Senator.. I can not confirm if the offer had any lighting devices turned on at the time of the incident; I only recall he was still obstructing traffic.

@DarthJesus2 yes, he does have to list her as a witness, but he could have let her go on the speeding ticket
