This was actually a relatively simple Rube Goldburg. Next time have more explosions and stuff. Or, here's a neat idea that hasn't been used, Make a barrier between 3 elites with shotguns and one rebel with something useless like a suitcase. Then cause the barrier to be lifted, blown up, dropped, etc. The elites blast the rebel and send him flying into the next reaction.

start with something simple. like shooting a ball at a door, and that door knocks down another door to make a domino effect. After awhile, add in more things, like ramps and other devices.
