@CommanderMethos No, Britain is a union of British, and British have always tried to stop EUROPE taking over, and the very first conflict between a nation on the British Isles and a European nation happened because of a European invasion of the British Isles. Didn't you learn about the Roman invasion of Britain and war against the native British (Celts)? Leaving the EU would be preserving our national identity, why? Because we would be making our own decisions, not following Europe's.

The sad thing is everyone knows nigel farage is right about the eu but its their other policies that make them unelectable. A lot them absolutely ridiculous. Thats the massive problem with democracy in this country - we are forced to choose the lesser evil as the parties have complete control - they tell us what policies we have to choose from. I was 18 years old when I was asked to vote on the Common Market I am 55 this year. The E.U.is not what we voted for back then, it is an undemocratic institution which refuses to listen to the common voice.

Well, in my opinion cooperations is what would be beneficial for both, UK and EU. I bet UK gov. would like to share its part of the decision making in EU. I bet that is beneficial for UK to have a voice within EU decision making.

These same old arguments. - there are just as many jobs in continental Europe that rely on trading with Britain, we are the EU's biggest export market. As we have said before we would continue to trade with the EU from outside just like Switzerland. Also if you call being one of 27 round a table as having influence then we have a different perception of the word. It would be beneficial if we were outside the EU and could once again make our own free trade deals with the rest of the world.

Those numbers don't matter because UKIP still want to trade with europe and keep the free trading, we import more from Europe than we export so it's in their interest to have us still trading with them. I don't understand how anyone could care more about other European countries infrastructure than our own, it doesn't compute.

Those numbers still do matter a lot. As i have said, UK at the moment has its voice in EU decision making. Those numbers proves, that partnership with EU is important for UK, theerfore the decisions made in EU are also important for UK.

Also it would be naive to think that withdrawing the EU will not affect your trade in any way.

If those numbers are so important and you think that we will lose so much from withdrawing may i ask you what 40 million pounds a day goes on (in the UK), we all know it pays for infrastructure in all of the smaller member states but what do we, the UK get out of that, and on top of that how much of that cash goes on paying for MEPs, on top of their 70k salary they also get a 200,000 pound budget each year to pay for admin and secretary staff for each MEP.

These are obviously figures by the EU. This is something called the Rotterdam effect - where by anything passing through Rotterdam before it is exported elsewhere in the world - the EU counts into its figures . No doubt so it can use it as propaganda, and people like yourselves can post it on forums and alike.

The figures are nonsense, but even if they were accurate it wouldn't matter because we still want to trade with the EU and would if we were outside.

@WeAreTheEuropeanz Before the EU destroyed the UK's trade with its' Commonwealth nations the UK was a lot stronger. The UK built the trade of the world through its' Empire, they know more about trading internationally than a bunch of secret communists in Brussels.
