God I remember seeing that also, I was just getting into Thin Lizzy at that time ,quite amazing seeing that footage again after all these years. With each newly uploaded footage is keeping Phil alive, certainly for me anyway. God bless you Phil.
Hey, I remember that on Jim'll Fix it from way back. I was still at primary school when that was on the TV. One of those things that stick in your mind. Could never remember what song it was, just remember the old lady playing with Lizzy. Thanks for posting.
great fucking song man absolouteley true song for america every single word is true to a T isn't it??? brilliant song love it and I really really like the rock solos in this they kick ass scot goram your cool brian robetson and gary moor erick bell john sikes brian downey you guys are the best rock group I've ever herd to this date just want to say too I am now a profesional bass guitarist and thank you Philip Lynott because you tought me a lot about bass playing without you I'd be nothing.
Thin Lizzy And Phil were A total class act!!! How many bands do you think through the ages would have ever allowed this?! Very classy. The only problem I see is that it wasn't me! LOL. You can tell that this made her so happy! Kudos for posting this, and Kudos to an amazing band for taking the chance and making someones day!! Thin Lizzy RULES hands down!!
si señor, una abuela de 70 años que le molaba thin lizzy, les escribe diciendoles que si podia tocar con ellos y ahi esta, La abuela es un bastinaso y los lizzy son un pelotazo
Been trying to see this for ages, remember it well from Jim'll fix it. The granny in question if I remember was keen piano/keyboard player and wanted to play with a rock band. Thin Lizzy obliged.
Dude - please tell more. Was she actually a Thin Lizzy fan? Did she rehearse much with the band? Who wrote the keyboard part? Is she still rocking? Seriously, I thought that made the song so much better.
My only problem with Hollywood is I just don't dig the Lizzy songs where the backing vocals aren't Phil - they sound weak. Great verse guitar riff though - one of their best.
All hail your gran - can you imagine how nervous you'd be performing a synth solo not only on TV, but with Thin Lizzy?

FUCK! I wish Jim'll Fix It was on nowadays. I would be like, Jimmy-boy. I wanna play with Thin Lizzy. Bring that sucker back from the dead!
Then I, along with Jimmy Saville, would be responsible for the return of Phil Lynott. Awesome!

Why is there an old lady playing with them? Very bizarre.

The elderly lady resembles Phil Lynotts mother Philomena But older maybe it's his Grandmother. The family talent came from somewhere.

It's like I've often said: There is no "cool" left in the universe; Phil got all of it.
