I made one and im commenting this vid from the laptop i made. You mentioned it not very good for playing games on well to rectify this what i did was inserted a pen into the laptop along with another wire [paper clip chains work fine] and i found that it ran games much better, it does mean you will have to use a cereal box though as it is bigger and you can put disks in it better.
