this is a great video. people need to know that New Years Celebration is a pagan holiday and that true christians should never get involved in any practices associated with paganism. as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, i do not celebrate New Years Day, as well as other well known holidays that are popular in the world today. people need to open and read their bibles and see the light of the truth, instead of following after the crowd of this world and celebrating holidays of pagan roots.

It is what it is.
Different cultures celebrate different things at different times for different reasons.
So long as they're not trying to shove it down anyone else's throat, I say, celebrate whatever, whenever and have a good time with all of it.
