Every state has different primary rules. If you are unregistered some states allow you to register on primary election day. Some states make you change 30days or 12 weeks before primary.

@TheDudeMan1688 You have to be republican if your state has a CLOSED primary. You have to vote in your primary if you want Ron Paul to be on the presidential ballot in November. Every state has different primary rules. If you are unregistered some states allow you to register on primary election day. Some states make you change 30days or 12 weeks before primary.
