YES. new mods are still being made daily if you finish all the regular campaigns, historical battles, and there is all-ways multiplayer. this is an amazing game if you know how to play it

Yeah, the hannibal-type victories are really hard to complete, because against beginners or pros, they will most likely counter the ambush before it even starts.

The egyptians are online always stronger than greek city states, it doesn't matter on which terrain. The only exception is if the hosts sets unlimited money, then the greeks can spam fully upgrade spartans.

look royal pikes only beat armored because of the long pike but the armored hoplites are better soldiers, so if they joined in hand to hand combat (swords). The armored hoplites would win. and nice vid prince :)

In a phalanx battle armoured hoplites win because of their better armour. The long pikes cause casualties first but its not hard for hoplites to get past that.

u know prince i dont like greece too much. i played a game against macedon recently and even tho my armored's and spartans were upgraded his royals pikes ate me for breakfast.... the pikes are so much better than the shorter spears

But yes, they are cheap. And incredibly annoying. Interesting fact: A fully upgraded (as in, 3 gold chevrons, gold sword and shield) Royal Pike owns a fully upgraded Armored Hoplites and knocks down a Spartan to 34. The length definitely gives an advantage.

Actually, all Greek hoplites have higher defense than attack. They have some of the most well-armored units in the game, at the price of some sh@t attack.

Besides, 30-odd defense ain't gonna help when the enemy has superior attack, 1.5x your numbers AND longer spear length.
