The first time I played that crab I was tempted to stop playing, but after you pass it the rest of the game seemed a hell of a lot easier.

Order of Ecclesia gets easier as you go, and it rewards you for doing the side quests. Mirror's Edge is way overrated though.

I didn't feel Order of Ecclesia was as hard as everybody says. I plowed through it in two days of solid playing the most I had to retry on a boss was three or four times tops. It's all about figuring out what enemies are weak against and customizing your glyphs to handle that situation. I'm actually relieved to see a new Castlevania that actually has a bit of bite to it, we haven't had a hard one since Circle of the Moon for the GBA. I also like that Iga actually took a fresh direction with it.

I reviewed Castlevania and also didn't really like it, when I played it back in 08. The game itself is good and I don't mind hard difficulties. But I hate if you HAVE to grind monsters. And you have to in this game at times, so can get hit at least a few times. I played though it and the ending is better when you get to the castle, but everything before that is just, meh

It's called Castlevania for a reason. And that is becuase you allways had to explore shit and not run through boring straight

Sorry, guys. I disagree with you on Castlevania OoE. It is my personal fave of the series. Challenging indeed, but not ridiculous... and I don't even consider myself hardcore. There are a lot of other gamers better than me. When I began, I KO'd many times. Bosses were hard. But now, it's a fun walk in the park. Ecclesia rocks!

You didnt even get past the crab??!! Come on! You cant review it....simply, the game is splendid, but needs effort, preperation, levelling up. And you can get decent sword/sickle glyph combos where rapid, powerful attacks can be dispensed that do good damage on 90% of monsters. This is a very decent castlevania outing....and you get the castle eventually!!! And the music is superb.....

FF7 was never slated for the PS3 as it is. It was a rumour started by the fanboys because it was originally coming out for the N64. With that info it was easy to start a rumour about a PS3 version. By all means FF7 might get a remake.... 15 or 20 years after the Creator dies. He owns all rights to FF and the characters, and I highly doubt he will go back on his word.

I found nothing of the sort, one article that said sakaguchi left square enix AFTER FF11. Then FF12 came out and now 13. I don't see there ever being an end to FF. They know they can make tonnes of money. I have loved them all, some I went crazy for and some were so-so. But I enjoyed all of them.

That doesn't really make much sense, considering that they've been remaking all of the other final fantasy games and re-releasing them on DS. Just because they're not making new ones doesn't mean they won't re-release old ones.

LOL sorry about our little debate on here. The reason they were being remade is because Sakaguchi had given rights for those as well.

By all means older titles can be remade but its appearing that Nintendo still holds part of the copyrights for them, and in the end they still always have to go through Sakaguchi. I personally don't like the remakes as is, I prefer the originall titles.

None the less our little debate has been resolved and we have decided to agree to disagree.

If you think OoE is easier than Castlevania 2, you haven't played it for a while. I played through it again a few years ago, and it's much more fun and more platformy than OoE, which was full of annoying planes full of enemies and not nearly enough platforming.

OoE isn't that hard. The glyph system made for more strategic combat which is easy to get the hang of. Castlevania has always been about challenge(right up until Symphony sucked it all away), and if you can't deal with it, then god have mercy on your soul. I'd hate to see you play hard mode.

hm. it sounds like you guys began playing castlevania with symphony of the night. castlevania did actually start out with the same intentions as other platform/action hybrids where momentum and memorization were large factors (and where getting hit by a medusa head didn't only mean taking damage -- it also meant potentially getting knocked into an instant death pit). :3

For Fable 2 don't forget the fact that load screens take 9 hours to fucking load....thank god that the new xbox experience allows you to download the disk to the hardrive...then you just insert the disk for verification...there's no noise and the load times are cut in half...so the average teen girl still has time to check her myspace...maybe  You have 40s to live Ryuuk
