I still think this game was better than Final Fantasy 7. Call me crazy, but FF10 had everything you could want in an epic RPG. The characters were alot more interesting than FF7. Cloud is better than Tidus but that's where it ends. Waka is better than Barret, Yuna is better than Areis, Rikku is better than Yuffie, Auron is better than anybody you can match up against in the cast (Cid/Caitsith/ect) the storyline is better and more emotionally involved and the graphics are far superior obviously.

@bobbyewing311 Well that's just your opinion. I have beat both games, and overall, liked FF7 more. FF7 got so popular that they made a prequel game, and even a sequel movie. Maybe of you played Crisis Core (prequel) you'll reconsider. Its just a masterpiece, and Advent Children (sequel) is too. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE FF10. But when you mention the words "FF", to most people, the words : Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, Zack, and AERIS tend to pop into your head more likely than Tidus, Yuna, ect...

@yt54ecs they made a sequel to FFX as well. If you recall FFx-2. But I see what you are saying, they even had an anime series in Japan based on FF7 but I mean overall I think the storyline with the summoner's pilgrimage and her guardian becoming sin, it was a far more deep storyline than simply Sephiroth wanting to destroy the world and use Cloud like a puppet. I mean remember how much of a shock it was when you first heard about Yuna having to sacrifice herself? Also the temples were very fun.

@yt54ecs ehh if you started playing ff game before 7 then no i started with the 1st ff on nes and when i think about ff games 6 comes to mind or 3 if you want to get it right. ff7 was a incomplet story they had to make the other things like ff7 cc and advent just so people knew what was going on. the ps1 ff7 story was all over the place. but what ff7 did was break the 3d realm it was not the 1st (wild arms was i think) but it was the most well received.

Also, FF7's extras only exist to plug a few of the plot holes in the game. Not that they do enough to stop it from sinking into crap anyway.
