It bothers me when folks, especially media, refers to tea party activists as "the tea party" as if it is another political party. The original "tea parties" were tax protests. It was not considered a more conservative wing of the Republican party. It consisted of Americans from ALL backgrounds that were fed up with BOTH PARTIES. The mainstream was, unfortunately, successful in turning it into a narrow and easily defined political party capable of being attacked and discredited. Arrrgghh.

Leftist politicians are at war with businesses, those who create them and those who run them. They are hold back, control, regulate, hamper, vilify and steal form them. And then they cry about the lack of jobs. And then come to the rescue with schemes that empower the government and create a dependent constituency.

Government needs to get out of the way and let people create, invent, work, produce, save, spend, invest. Unleash those who know how and stand back.
