I've been rodeoing my life. The contractors are just as upset as anyone else IF this happens & the animals are taken out of the arena & put down straight away!
REMEMBER these animals have either been RESCUED or BRED for this! INJURIES CAN HAPPEN IN THE PADDOCK TOO!
For those that, even after seeing all these videos, still think rodeos aren't cruel, here's a challenge: post a video of a rodeo where the animals are looked after, where they are obviously happy and content. Show us a video where the roped calf is enjoying the experience, where the horses or bulls are perfectly happy. You won't post such a video because it doesn't exist. Time for you to get your head out of your arse, stop buggerising livestock and join the human race.

this kind of crap irritates me. Why are these videos always on such a terrible slant? why don't they show those calves getting up and running off without any injuries at all? why do they never show the stock that come out and just don't feel like bucking? Why do they always show only the parts that look bad, and then edit out the rest??? And WHY don't they remember that when they go home and eat a steak, that the steer on their plate was probably treated in precisely the same way on the farm???

Actually calf roping is legal in Victoria and accidents happen in any sport doesnt matter what it is involving animals. I hate people who think Rodeos are cruel but have NOTHING against Horseracing or other things that are much worse coz its just all about the MONEY.. RETARDS.. Stock contractors look after their stock soo well and atleast the animals have a second chance at life than ending up at the knackery for no damn reason..

Seeing animals hurt, broken, euthanaised at 99% of rodeos got to me. I stopped my participation and jumped to the other side of the fence and became active AGAINST rodeos. Animals are ALWAYS hurt at these events, no exception. From slight injuries such as skin grazes through to bone breaks and death. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Why don`t you people get a life , I beleive I would know the Stock Contractor , and they do look after there Stock , is it time you get a life and look after your own back yard. As for saying it a stop before the slaugther house (meet work) get a life that is not true.
