Would like to say that this is a great song...love to this remix...has the 1973 vocal/steel guitar w/ a "touch" of the original 1972 steel in there...

This is not a KARAOKE. It's the final product without the lead vocal track yet. The recording that you're hearing here was finished in 1971 or 1972.

This is the original release of the song, but it's the final version before the lead vocal was thrown on top of it.

@r5t6y12 Sorry, but this is a true karaoke remix. Richard Carpenter personally remixed it for karaoke in 1991 for release in Japan. Further, this is NOT the 1972 mix from A Song For You, but the mix for The Singles 1969-1974, as it includes the steel work done by Buddy Emmons. Put the two side by side and the difference is clear.
