I grew up watching exploitation films in just about every genre they were in, so it's almost an insult to me for these to be confused with being exploitation.

These films, with the exception of the claymation one, were obviously made by people that saw 'Grindhouse' (Planet Terror/Death Proof) in theaters last year and believed they understood the genre perfectly. Exploitation isn't just about disgusting violence and zombies.

That kind of film-making is just insulting to true fans of the genre.

ElZombo, by your logic, grindhouse movies haven't existed since the 1970s when grindhouse theaters still existed. Technically, everything that's been done after grindhouse theaters closed down (I'm guessing in the 80s), isn't a grindhouse film.

Grindhouse films are exploitation films and they rarely have much substance. Most deal with sexuality, violence, martial arts, etc.

I kno his career very well (Reservoir Dogs is my Citizen Kane) I kno he only wrote 2 grindhouse like films. "Death proof" & cowrote "FDTD".
